For those of you saying there are no facts or data to support Erentill nerf, well here they are
CoolGuy is now saying the same thing we've all been saying about high impact fusions and the state they are in in the current sandbox. Remove backup plan and hit scan. The writing is on the wall and clearly shows their performance is just way out of control in the range of primary weapons and with a low skill ceiling to get that high performance.

Last season it was Recluse cuz it’s just not fair that I can’t get my kill when I’m sprinting and sliding at someone else who keeps killing me.

Fusions are not out of control and he never said they were. This is a big part of what he said: "This is Destiny, use whatever you want and stop being a grouchy douche bag just because someone is killing you with a gun you hate. All guns are viable." How about you ACTUALLY listen to what he said and stop being this?

People done lost their minds (I thought to myself).... Now D2 yr1.... as I go into Trials with a fusion in my heavy slot and I'm told... "bud dont use that those are garbage throw on a shotgun or a Rocket Launcher" (I didn't listen I'm a fusion guy I enjoy them) Now jump what about 2yrs later?.... a fusion rifle is OP..... I'm not disagreeing with points made within the community... but and here me out... it's not the gun that's the problem it's the game.... it's the meta... it's the OHK mechanics, guns, & abilities. The gun was not broken a year ago barely used... it's the adapting to the meta that causes "OP" guns. The speeds at which this game is played at is sometimes insane which leaves shotgun peeps to close gaps way to fast for snipers, sidearms, and SMGs... so neutral players adapt we find weapons that allow us to play the style we feel most comfortable with or abilities like hand held super nova everyone also claims is OP. We will find another.... and people here will ask to have it nerfed... then so on and so forth... and there will be all the community guys whom put out their opinions and people whom cling to it like Gold Bond. I'm not opposed to some changes to them but it's nowhere near as bad as people are saying it is. Reminds me of when a recent League of Legends champion Garen was reworked to have Attack Speed boost his Judgement damage. People meme'd and built full attack speed against bots or poorly skilled players and called it broken (which it was) when in all actuality if you tried that against any person with half a brain you'd feed and die nonstop because he has poor mobility.

10 commentairesModifié par WulfPak666 : 2/5/2020 6:02:08 PMHe basically says Erentil with a Long zoom scope and Firmly planted is busted since the bolt damage falloff caps at like 39-40 damage, which is still enough to drop someone, especially when firmly planted makes all your bolts literally a single ball. Erentil's unique set of perks make it (and Elatha) basically the only good fusions in the game since a lot of other high impact fusions can't roll with different scopes or certain perks. (bungies fault) The faster charging fusions are basically dog poo since they lack the consistency of Erentil to stop people reliably. D1 Fusions were NOT hit scan and were just as busted as Erentil, if not even more so. (See Saladin's MF Vigil 👍) Backup plan was a mistake and needs to go. Also, Erentil isn't even in the top 5 (10?) most used guns in the PvP meta so.... 🤔 He also says, this is Destiny, use whatever you want and stop being a grouchy douche bag just because someone is killing you with a gun you hate.

1 commentaireI agree but if Bungie over nerfs fusions, which is the norm for them when nerfing shit, D2 will be even more of a shotgun ape simulator. I don’t know what the best way to go about changing this is but making primaries as deadly as they were in D1 would be a good start IMO. Reducing recoil on console as well as bloom would be nice too. PC looks so smooth with minimal bloom and recoil but for whatever reason we get stuck with the BS. Even if it means reducing aim assist on many weapons that would be fine with me. God forbid they force people to learn to aim without the highest aim assist in any shooter ever made. 🤷🏽

1 commentaireffs, the game isn't just about PvP PvE is the lifeblood of D2 and dev continue to nerf good PvE weapons because of PvP whining, PvE players will move on to other games more quickly than they already are. I use a fusion rifle on almost every run, and I'd hate to have one of my fav weapons nerfed because PvP shotgun and HC apes can't figure out how to juke a guy with a fusion rifle

12 commentairesSnipers need nerfing before erentil does .... don’t use erentil, notice in his little montage at the start almost every kill was against a stationary target or someone running towards him.... from him popping into line of sight charging and shooting most guns would kill in the same time frame

8 commentairesCoolGuy did a great job on the investigated unbiased journalism. I’d just like to add. Back up plan lowers the skill gap on fusions because it eliminates the timing/anticipation skill factor but we all already knew this ... the difference here being that I’d also would like to see QuickDraw removed from shotguns as it also serves the same purpose in removing the feedback one should receive when poorly timing or anticipating. That is literally the only factor that matters on both fusions and shotguns. Those two perks completely invalidate that inherent tradeoff. There’s a reason why high impact fusions and aggressive shotguns have base low handling. The perks in question completely nullify those intrinsic tradeoffs that should exist on all archetypes. If one goes then the other should as well. As one counters the other and if one is removed the other will lack a hard counter.

1 commentaireSure as long as they don't -blam!- it and its archetype, I just can't trust Bungie on this though. Idk enough of projectile to hitscan, aside from bolt disappearing on death in D1. I did well with them in D1 regardless, wouldn't mind the fix( or removal ) of firmly planted and backup plan for high impact frames.
