I love these posts. IB has been bad since it left D1, but people still go in and confirm it each month. Without a real leveling system, I can't see IB being very good. In D1 we used to play IB to level up and get materials to upgrade everything in our inventory. With D2 you get the 4 bounties that take forever and that's it. Power level isn't really that noticeable. Not to mention when you play solo you'll face 5 or 6 player stacks almost every game (Large teams = lag) Unless you are a KD farming you are just trying to get in and get out or skipping altogether.

Share your opinions about it sure. But do not lie. Bungie does care about PvP. They have done more since Shadowkeep than they have done throughout all of Year 2 combined. Iron Banner has been a mess for me so far. I would say that now I am being matched against people at my skill level which is awesome, but my teammates seem to not be playing the same as me (but there are tons of factors. Maybe they are having a low point in their games perhaps for example). But the main issue I have is leavers. 2 Matches I have played and repeatedly people just leave for one reason or another. Every time I ask why they left, it is always "Oh the servers suck I was lagged out". Which is just so damn unlikely. I have only lagged when my connection is bad on Destiny. There really never is any other time in my experience you will be disconnected. Bungie seriously needs to implement some sort of system where is reads "Did they leave or did they get disconnected?" and if they willingly left there needs to be punishments. -
Either they are going to address their addiction to OHK or things like Iron banner are going to continue to be a mess. All of the things that are a problem are exacerbated by having people running around with heavy weapons in every slot.

Iron banner is a joke. Get me the pinnacles and them cya. Regular crucible (for all it's flaws) at least has power levels normalized.

Agreed, completely agree with that statement, i like playing pvp and play it a lot but something about iron banner just isn't good, the power advantages are dumb and the fact that matchmaking takes way longer and if you queue as a solo you play six stacks of sweats and get dumpster. it just gets annoying and the fact that turning in tokens to collect rewards can't be done till the quest which is even more stupid.

Against 5+ stacks -- still spanked a few as solo's :D My one complaint was that one game started 4v6 and did not back-fill for a very long time. We lost by a single point 124 v 125, so that bad start was annoying. The one thing I recommend -- add some auto-balancing so that players are moved from one side to another BEFORE match start if no back-fill players can be found. Don't start a game 6v4 if 5v5 is possible.

Grinded out the 4 pinnacle bounties. Only good thing to come from my 15+ games of mainly solo play was a pulse rifle with HC rounds, head seeker, & rampage. 2 weapon drops and 2 armour drops(low base stats) Needed a cloak. Bungie screwed me.

Would rather play rift than lock out control over and over with no good armor and/or weapon to grind for. With rotating game mode would make people play and/try mode that they normally would never try or complete “triumph”. Iron Banner is to pay respect to the Iron Lords by completing objectives of a group game mode, not individual achievements. New team point system, kills x captures = individual score going towards overall team score. 40 kills with zero capture would be zero (for example). Or even, time to load in to next match based on captures. Just a thought. Need D1 Iron Banner structure and grind rewards in a nut shell.

Every time I evade a shoulder-charging Titan by going into orbit then finish them off with Sidearm from the sky I am roaring with laughter Freshen up IB for yourself by playing on a sub-class you have rarely used before, especially an updated Solar one. It's a lot of fun...

I like iron banner. I got all of the pinnacle drops and quests done on all three guardians last IB. Very vague on the feedback, i guess your feedback doesnt really count.

You’ve had 4 weeks to fix it & put it in this weeks Iron Banner Iron Banner used to be a great event in D1 (arriving on a Friday, ranking up, light level really mattered, chances of some great weapons & armour style/light level) It’s become even more of a shambles from D2Y1, & this latest Y3 is just bounties for trash Sort yourselves out, you’re a mess!

The amount of Jotuun and LoWs users is insane. Although if anything it’s highlighted how cheesy those weapons are, for all the people that rush to defend them. People aren’t going to Chaperone or Good Bone Structure or Gannoras or Parcel or even Mind Benders, everyone’s going to LoWs. This is definitive proof it’s too powerful and way too easy to use. And no I’m not having a hard time lol. Finished all the quests and bounties in one session on Warlock.

Like a few others on here, match making this time has been complete crap. The rehash of weapons and armour is pure garbage. After all this time you'd think that Bungo would provide a varied platter of Iron Banner entertainment, but no, they are just lazy, trawling out the same pile month after month.
