It’s like walking in to a Steak House and ordering -blam!-ing FISH!!!

I used to raid. We had a real tight group of 6. Then everyone kind of fell off during black armory. My wife and I are the only 2 that came back. The other 4 have logged on here and there, but with no actual consistency to get anything done, so I've still never completed last wish (only need riven) onward. I'm holding out hope that they'll be back for shadowkeep, but i'll eventually get pugs if not. I do miss raiding, but I'd rather learn raids with my friends than make pugs suffer.

15 commentairesIt's like going to a steakhouse, ordering the steak and you have to: run 3 laps around the table backwards blindfolded, stand on your chair with one foot while trying to jump up and touch the ceiling switching feet, do 6 backflips making sure not to bump anyone else's table, and if you do you have to start over. By the time you get the "steak" it's cold and not fulfilling. Oh, and due to our Random Steak Generator you didn't get a steak this time. Try again next week. Same with these raids. By the time they're finished you're just glad they're over because they're overthought.

4 commentairesRun one raid, you have basically run then all, the mechanics are generally some sort of the same varient all the way back to VOG

2 commentairesI make sure people in my clan raid. It is foolish to buy this game and expect to do it solo, not raid, and not do PvP activities.

1 commentaireShiver me timber’s...We got a barnacle over here!

1 commentaireSpoken like a true raid queen.

3 commentairesIf you can raid and more importantly, raid on a regular basis then more power to you. But the fact that this game’s IN-GAME social and group finding features are p!ss poor to non-existent, specifically on console, play more than a major part in its minuscule raiding population. Sure Bungo will tell you to “use the Destiny app” but that usually said in a tweet, via a stream, in an online interview, or in these forums. Maybe if more of their messaging was done thru the very game people purchased, they might get more people to raid and ideally, raid on a regular basis. Look, I’m not saying the community doesn’t have a part to play in this. But maybe Bungo so try something new and directly interact with their community thru the most direct line… the game.

There are simple answers to this. LFG has numerous requirements, including, but not limited to, clears, weapons, exotics, etc. If someone is brave enough to make their own group and admits to not having experience, it will either fill with other inexperienced people, or not fill at all.
-
Not speaking for myself here, but its probably one of two things: - you don't have enough friends to get a group together, and lfg is not a very inviting place - or you play destiny casually and prefer to just run strikes/crucible and less sweaty activities nothing wrong with either of those two things

Modifié par Quaddity : 8/20/2019 5:12:09 PMMy clan occasionally raids but the D2 raids (and strikes for that matter) are just not as fun as D1. We had a lot more fun running weekly raids in D1. Bungie really needs to give up it's obsessions with balls. Grabbing balls, throwing balls, passing balls, it's like the first thing they come up with during design time is we gotta have MORE BALLS in this content. What would make a horde mode better. I got it running around grabbing balls and throwing them!

9 commentairesBecause raida in d2 suck End of story
-
12 commentairesCause the raids suck and are way to dependent on dumb mechanics and the loot is garbage. Why spend 2 hours wiping a resetting for nothing? Yeah, I'll pass and won't miss a damn thing.
-
I play mainly pvp. Loved the raids in D1, couldn’t be bothered to do any raids after the atrocity leviathan. Did lash wish once, got 1k voices and I was out. Still don’t understand the symbol mechanism, y’all can have these raids.
-
I only play pvp
-
6 commentairesYeah I agree everyone should at least try the raids even if they don’t do it every week but I have a question for you... If you’re so boss you can laugh at raidless noobies why do you keep your account private? Seems pretty cowardly bro...
-
1 commentairemaybe idiots like you are putting them off! dont want to be teamed up with -blam!-.
-
1 commentaireYou’ve only been here 3 yrs , I’ll excuse you
-
I stopped doing raids in D1 cause I got tired of listening to twelve year olds try to flex about their mad skills then blame everyone else for a wipe even though they died a full minute before the rest of the party. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)
-
The amount of steakhouse analogies in this topic is more than acceptable.
-
2 commentairesI am having salmon tonight btw.
-
Why? The loot is trash, Armor is hot garbage and I can get better weapons in the game playing other activities. In D1, some of the best weapons and armor were in the raids. D2 that isnt the case.
-
Ease, time and sanity. D1 RAIDS WERE FUN! D2 raids not as fun, for me, and take more time and sanity. Leviathan is not bad but alas not enjoy D2 raids sufficient to make the time to run them. Which sucks I used to love Raid night (Thursdays for my fireteam). Note apart of the lack of fun is the lack of useful rewards making worth running. !000 Voices is an exception but drop rate is crap enough that I won't bother.

1 commentaireNoob huh ? Lmao 😂 . I really needed a laugh .

1 commentaireI've attempted all the D2 raids. I've completed all but Crown of Sorrow. With that said - I prefer all D1 raids to anything we've been delivered in D2. I used to raid weekly in D1, even the harder challenge modes. In D2 we struggle to get our clan to raid once a month or so. The D2 raids are simply not fun, unforgiving, and too mechanics heavy. Hurray for the streamers getting their way. Screw the average player. A big first step would be ditching the raid token revive system. Go back to D1 unlimited revives on a timer (think heroic strikes) with the hard modes using revive tokens. As it is now, raids are too unforgiving when you try to teach noobs the encounters or carry inexperienced players.
