Duplicate Protection is not a real thing, stop lying.
I can understand 2 or even 3. Sure, it's RNG, it will happen, it's supposed to happen.
But since the seasonal reset i have received no less than 12 duplicate exotics.
I started clipping them to actually show you the sheer stupidity of some of these drops.
Not only is there supposed to be duplicate protection, but there's also supposed to be duplicate weapon protection so that if it is a duplicate, you're more likely to get armor than weapons. So me getting 2 exotic weapons in 1 drop is supposed to be the single most unlikely outcome and yet... weapons keep dropping, armor keeps dropping.
Then imagine getting an exotic drop while actively using it.
Either your algorithm doesn't work, or it literally doesn't even exist. Sort it out. This is a joke.
I didn't manage to clip all of them since the first few i didn't really pay much attention to.

Everything is RNG. The fact that you’re even getting that many exotics from basic things as crucible and flashpoint completions are just super rare, be glad you’re getting that many exotic drops. 🤦🏻♀️ Edit: I’ve done those robot bounty chests on all three characters the last two weeks it’s been out and have not received any exotic. Only getting legendaries that are barley 2+ higher than what I have. The ridiculousness of this post is overwhelming
