Why is it almost every Exotic Hand Cannon and every new event require PvP? how about a PvE version. got through all the Drifter/Vanguard stuff until i finished gambit, now i have to do PvP?? nope, nada, aint gonna happen anytime soon. See you next season maybe.

So I should get 1000 voices from pvp? Or I should get anarchy from pvp? All these entitled kids wanting everything handed out to them, pvp is soooo easy

25 commentairesModifié par GrundleBeans : 3/13/2019 9:10:21 PMSo Crimson Days couldn't be done without playing PvP huh? How come they had all those PvE bounties then? The biggest rewarding one was for doing a Nightfall... [EDIT] I almost forgot about The Dawning! That too was pretty much entirely PvE and all the rewards. You could ignore any bounty involving PvP, but the vast majority of what everyone was asked to do was PvE based. What about Festival of the Lost? Both getting Thunderlord and the Haunted Forest activity were PvE. What about Whisper of the Worm? That's PvE. Thunderlord... Whisper of the Worm... MIDA... Sturm... Rat King... Sleeper Simulant... Polaris Lance... Worldline Zero... Lord of Wolves... Wish Ender... Jotunn and Le Monarque... Izanagi's Burden... Raid exotics... Graviton Lance/Sunshot/Riskrunner each being rewards just for completing the base story... Out of 50 total exotic weapons, only 4-5 require PvP. There are 3x the number of PvE exotic quests/events than ones asking you to do PvP. Which is not even including the greater number of exotics you can get from doing any activity you want as random drops or from vendors.

Same reason every quest has pve
-
WHY does every event have PvE
-
Because if they didn't force you to play it, you wouldn't because it sucks and they know it.

3 commentairesAs a self-proclaimed Crucible hater, I actually think it's a good thing. Maybe not everyone feels like this, but going outside your comfort zone to get something like Ace, or especially TLW (or Thorn now, of course) feels like a greater accomplishment than something like Thunderlord (I literally was halfway through that quest before I realized I had started it). Don't get me wrong; I'm absolutely not looking forward to spamming my Ikelos HC in Crucible for hours, but when I'm done I'll at least feel a little more like I "earned" the gun with my own sweat and blood (and yeah, the blood of others). And I think that's the point. Diversity is good in this case; Bungie gave us a mostly PvP-free path to this gun, so it's at least a step up from TLW.
-
That’s funny because about 90% of the thorn steps have the option for PvE. There’s one annoying PvP step and one annoying PvE step for the last two, I think this quest is done pretty well
-
2 commentairesWhy do we play any of it? Can't we just get what we want from a community vault? You know, we are all 1 team! We should be able to use each other's rolls, pinnacle weapons, etc. We shouldn't have anything that is "mine" or "yours". Hell lets start that movement!
-
because it sucks and they want to kill the game.
-
Every event doesn't have PvP. Hell, Crimson Days could be done without any PvP for the loot. And it was a PvP focused event. Stop overreacting. As far as hand cannons go, they were designed for PvP. Thorn, Last Word, and Ace were all made with the intent to not only fight the Darkness but fight the Light as well. And they all had 1 PvP step with Ace having a Gambit step too but that can be done without invading. You people need to quit it like honestly.

Pvp events: Crimson days Pve events: Festival of the lost, moments of triumph, dawning "WhY dOeS eVeRy EvEnT hAvE pVp"

26 commentairesGame: has mostly pve, with raids, part of gambit, story, open worlds, nightfall, most quest steps, strikes, reckoning, forges, only exceptions being crucible and part of gambit, and Trials of t- oh… yeah… Game: *Insert a couple pvp quest steps* Players: WTFWHYSOMUCHCRUCIBLEITSNOTFAIRWHYISITALLPVP

You guys act like every single dlc/content drop is dedicated to pvp haha
-
2 commentairesAll of Black Armory was PvE bruh. Even got a whole raid. God you guys cry so much 😂😂😂
-
Because there is no new content to replay and Bungie needs to prop up it's numbers in different activities. How many billion Adventures, Campaign Missions or Strikes can we do before you just give up (as I did Saturday) bored out of our trees. There has not been an advancement of the main story line since Forsaken dropped, 7+ months ago. Just lazy cheap development.
-
To cater for people that like PvP, they probably don’t appreciate having to do PvE. Swings and roundabouts.
-
1 commentaireIt’s simple the people who get stomped nonstop by these pinnacle weapons have either left destiny 2 or do not play any Pvp activity what so ever. So bungie basically uses this as a good chance to boost the Pvp figures temporarily in hopes it’s gonna pick up more players.
-
Modifié par H80sReject : 3/13/2019 7:22:22 PMNo, what Bungie needs to do is give pve and pvp options that require equal amounts of time for every step of a quest. Unless it's like the Luna's Howl or Not Forgotten Bungie needs to have it this way. I've been on the forum since yesterday and a lot of people are not happy that acquiring Thorn requires playing pvp.
-
-
Agree. 100%. I simply don't understand why PvP is being forced on us. I stopped The Last Word when my score started going backwards (about my thrid PvP match). I stopped Thorn as soon as I figured out that it would take me about 100 matches to get beyond the "Weaponize the Unknown" step (I have 16 points out of 500 after 3 matches). Providing an alternative (PvE) path through quests would be simple to do, but Bungie won't give up on forcing folks to do PvP in at least one step. What is their end game? Is it ego (We built it, so you're going to play it, damn it!)? Is it trying to complete with Fortnight ( 80% of our players play PvP (because we force them to))? It's as frustrating as it is mysterious.

13 commentairesSo you just going to ignore all the forges from Black Armory? 😂😂😂

git gud

1 commentaireI don't want to play the entire game I want to cherry pick what I have to do wahhh bungie
-
Haven't you heard it's now called COD call of destiny.

3 commentairesI dont play PVP at all myself, not even for the engrams. I went to quickplay for the 25 kills for the drifter allegiance and it was a sweatfeast. Not Forgotten/Wardcliff/Shotgun/Spectral spam constantly. One match I got put in against an Unbroken. Shaxx called it and we had like 6 kills. I just went into comp and did it easier (I am at 0 glory) because it matched me with people my skill.
