FYI I never played D1 so I was nervous about the quicker TTK in Forsaken but to be honest, I think it's fun. However....this shotgunning meta is cancer. I understand a lot of you love to just slide around the whole map 1 shotting people while hardly aiming but it's ruining crucible. I have literally been killed on multiple occasions but someone I was shooting at short-mid range who slid into short range and 1 shots me while taking all my bullets to the face. Sure they walk away with a sliver of health but this isn't fun. Everyone has a shotgun. Entire try-hard teams are running around with shotgun loadouts. What's the point of weapons like SMGs, swords, sidearms? These weapon classes are completely outclassed by almost every shotgun in the game. The entire close range shootout game is gone which is so sad because it was really fun. Quick hip fires and melees made it fun. Now it's just slide..pop..slide..pop I suggest 1 of 2 things. Either put shotties back in the power slot or reduce their range dramatically. If you must keep them out of the power slot, at least make it so they need to get really close for the 1 shot.
