For all those that are not impressed with the PVP challenges required for the solstice armour

So I have seen a bunch of people complaining about the PVP challenges that are required to be completed in order to upgrade your Solstice armour. I have tried my best to reason with some and I would just like to post here a paragraph I put together in the hopes to help those of you’s that are mortified with these challenges to see how it could have been worse and how this armour is after all the only 405 armour in the game, so it should be a bit of a grind. Anyway, here it is. Although it may be frustrating for those that don’t play a lot of pvp, at the end of the day the challenges that require you to compete in crucible are pretty easy compared to what they could have been(I.e Aquire Redrix Claymore). After all it’s all about triumphs and what you have and can accomplish after playing the first year of destiny 2. If you can’t get 30 kills using a decent super, that is purely designed to allow you to one hit kill everyone in the lobby, after a few matches then you probably need to improve a fair bit. It’s like PVP players whinging that the chest peace requires you to complete the prestige raid in order to masterwork it, that may not be a big deal to you, but in the same way you are finding the PVP requirements a bit difficult, a mostly PVP player will find certain PVE challenges more difficult then a big PVE player will. You need to appreciate both points of view and how PVP players could be annoyed at the fact that the large majority of challenges a geared towards PVE. In no way am I saying the usual ‘get good’ but you need to realise that everyone’s personalities and abilities are different and if people complain unnecessarily to Bungie about something that is easier to some but nonetheless obtainable by most if not all if enough dedication has been devoted, then if listened to by Bungie, would effect the game in a negative way and bring it back to a point where it’s just as watered down and shallow as it was at launch, because it appealed to anyone and everyone but no one at the same time. Though it may be frustrating, people either complete these challenges, no matter how gruelling it may be for some, or they don’t. This is not a armour set for all, it requires dedication, you just have to decide how much dedication your willing to give. I hope this is not too abrupt as I mean it in a non-offensive way. As to how you may find these particular challenge a bit easier: Mayhem is starting this coming reset, and Valor goes up no matter if you win or loose. :) how much more will you enjoy the end result if you’ve had to work hard for it. Keep your chin up guardians, there is always a silver lining.

 • Pvp whiners complaining about obtaining the optimal armor and not being able to masterwork it is pathetic. You have legendary armor that is higher than the game allows already - what do you have to complain about, ttk, exactly. Bunch of whiners. Not anywhere close to the grind it took to get 30 super kills on a character one is not familiar with. My titan took an hour to get the job done. Warlock - 4+ hours. Hunter 3+ hours. Trying to get 5 wins on Hunter has actually caused me to quit playing all together. (I will let you look up the aftermath yourself). Maybe SoS, should have been part of the green requirement. Regular of course. Then none of the PvPers would be able to obtain 400 level.
