Sorry if I'm salty, but I've got to say that this was weak on the part of Bungie. For those who aren't aware yet. In Destiny 2 Titans turn into Captain America with an indestructible throwable variant on their defender class. That's right, a roaming defender Titan basically. Warlocks turn into a damned avenging angel, complete with wings, a flaming sword, and bolts of holy fire to rain down on their enemies. Hunters? You get a reskin of OG Bladedancer. Yeah, nice middle finger to my favorite class Bungie.
Okay, rant over. I have no opinions yet as to whether or not the game will or won't be good, but this is not making me feel like Hunters at least are being given much consideration. Also this is not an attempt at starting a class war so none of that Warlock/Titan/Hunter master race garbage please and thank you.

1 commentaireNow that the game is released and I've played as a Hunter, I agree. It's ridiculously underpowered. And for everyone arguing that they can shadestep....Yeah. once every year. And for everyone arguing that they can shoot 6 golden gun shots.... Yeah. Good luck shooting more than 2 people with the short amount of time you have to actually use those shots. It's a bad class, and I hope it gets fixed. Honestly Invisibility would balance this out. That's why I was a hunter because it was weaker than the rest but it could become invisible which made it a HUGE SUPPORT ROLE. That's what it needs.

1 commentaireas long as I can go invis, I dont care about the super. If they kill invis, COD WWII here I go!
-
1 commentaireI didn't know Bladedancers could jump into the air and slam down on enemies like Arcstriders can...

3 commentairesSo each class has a 3rd ability that can be used regardless of subclass. Let's look at them: Titan: Summons a large frontal shield that protects the Titan and anyone standing left or right of him from enemy fire. Warlock: It's called "Healing Rift". It drops an AoE healing plate on the ground. Anyone standing in this healing zone rapidly regens health. Hunter: Shadowstep.................. That's.... It... ------------------------ Now for Supers, let's take a look at what we know so far: Titan: Fist of Havoc was massively upgraded to allow the initial slam, then the ability to run around in 'roid mode for about 15 seconds, being able to repeatedly slam, shoulder charge, all with damage resistance and increased movement speed. Next you have the Captain America super. Summons a personal shield that can be tossed around left and right for massive damage. Warlock: All we know is Dawnblade. Run around and fly around with damage resistance, increased movement speed flinging fire bolts everywhere. Looks like you get 7-8 of these before super runs out. Do massive damage to elite/ultras in pve, and OHKO machine in pvp. Hunter: Gets Bladedancer 2.0. Almost guaranteed to be useless in pve because it has no range. Good luck running up to that ultra and trying to melee it. Gunslinger did get an upgrade to allow more GG shots though. ------------------- In summary, it is completely laughable how bad Hunter got shafted. The issue is other classes have ranged supers that offer extra utility. More importantly, other classes have team support capabilities. Warlock heals the team, Titan shields the team. Hunter... rolls around. Once again, especially for upper tier pve content, Hunters are back in the dark ages and nobody will want them in their group, just like Vanilla Destiny.

1 commentaireDid you get five fan style golden gun shots? Chin up slugger, you'll be alright.
-
1 commentaireI would say Hunters are getting the pole, but its all the same dick joke
-
1 commentaireYou get a bladedancer that can do flips. No one else can do a flip.

Modifié par Noctroglyph : 5/19/2017 1:45:55 AMHey man, my gunslinger gets shadestep and exploding throwing knives. You poor (insert other class here) will never see it coming ;-) #HMR
-
Modifié par SnakePayne86 : 5/21/2017 1:50:28 AMNah man it can jump around do flips and ninja shit. They all look pretty cool in my opinion, the Warlock looks best but they're the crown jewel of classes so it's natural.
-
1 commentairePlease change title to . Hunters are still shafted.....
-
1 commentaireCan we wait until it actually comes before we start this "my class got shafted" mentality?
-
1 commentaireThat's Bungie's punishment for you Hunters bitching and whining 24/7. Ahahahaha
I wish our flame wings would look more like wings.
-
1 commentairebe happy, they should have removed hunters from the game completely.
-
1 commentaireThe way I see it, the Hunter's subclass looks a little bit more like stormcaller combined with bladedancer. The super itself doesn't look impressive initially, although I'd imagine it'll serve a purpose for those who want to use the thing. I could think of some tactical advantages already that teams might have in store for competitive gameplay modes such as Trials of Osiris. I have to wonder, though... do the essential perks such as self-revive or invisibility remain for their respective character classes?

18 commentairesThe game isn't even out yet and the hunters are already complaining
Please don't hurt me, I only said it because I had to
-
9 commentaires1) hunters are getting a stick to fight with. Technically speaking this means they are getting the shaft, not getting shafted 2) I heard shadestep was available on all hunter classes as an intrinsic ability 3) I heard golden gun may now actually be on a timer not limited by number of shots (reports of 4 or 5 shots with one golden gun)
-
1 commentaireWas expecting clever pun about shaft and pole being similar. Left disappointed.
-
2 commentairesDid you see how slow Titans are now ? They turn so damn slow and skating is gone. https://www.youtube.com/embed/5reeuarp6g4
-
Looked to me like it's making it so you can now hit multiple targets per swing, which could make it a bit of a combination between the normal Arc Blade melee and the ranged/area attacks. If they give it some cool alternate ability perks, it could actually be an improvement.
-
I agree that the Poledancer class doesn't look as exciting as I had hoped, however we didn't see much other then a hunter flipping around and smacking shit with a pole so it's hard to say without an in depth look at the subclass. Hopefully Bungie will give us some more info about the new subclasses.
-
I think the sith lord bladedancer was the coolest out of all of them.
-
3 commentairesRight, thats why Gunslinger gets six shots and Shadestep.
-
2 commentairesI just hope they don't keep giving them half/quarter cloaks. Dear god Bungie please stop that shit unless it's some low level fodder.
-
1 commentaireAs a Titan, I'm kinda really happy we go from being a Flamming Thor to now a voided out Captain America.

Look at it this way. History has shown that the things Bungie shows in pre-release teasers means jack squat. Hell, they showed the Boolean Gemini in advertising materials for House of Wolves and that weapon didn't show up until TTK. Nothing is final.
