Question
I'm new to destiny. And I'm wondering what's better. Warlock or Titan?

Depends on how you're looking to play the game. Both offer a lot of variety in PvP in terms of abilities.

There are weapons and armor you can unlock for each class. You will also receive random drops of weapons and armor that may not match the class you are currently using. Your Vault is your storage space for any items you can't currently use that may be useful later. It's up to you to determine which character you want to start with. All 3 classes have unique abilities in attack and defense that can give you bonuses depending on the play mode i.e. Pvp or pve and the situation. Good luck and welcome to Destiny. It depends on your favorite style of playing: if u like a more in-your-face, heavy fighting style, go with the Titan. If u like a more supportive role, choose Warlock.

As a Titan main I'd say that the warlock is more versatile But each class has its own strengths.
