No other special (maybe titan hammer) is able to clear out the enemy team when you pop the special miles away from the enemy themselves. They have a lot of Armour and regen, on average it must get 3-4 kills only way to counter it is by using your special. So to have a special which the enemy needs to use theirs to kill one person is outrageous.
