I'm one of the poor unfortunate sods who is still stuck on a "Legacy" console... and as my console decided last night that it would no longer detect my wireless adapter OR my ethernet cord... I am about to throw what little money I have at a rent-to-own place so I can upgrade to an Xbox One. Sorry PS4 Players, all my friends are on XBL. Anyway... back to the question.
If I preorder or simply purchase Rise of Iron... does that include the core Destiny game and all previous DLC/Updates like HoW, DB, TTK, etc... as well as the Rise of Iron DLC?
I ask because If I have to purchase TTK separately, then this is where I part ways with Destiny. Some folks might have that kind of money, but I am on a tight budget and can't afford to throw another $200 at Bungie for a game I already paid for on Xbox 360.

1 commentaireI would wait a few weeks and see if they announce a revamped $60 Legendary Edition (that includes Vanilla, TDB, HoW, TTK and RoI) closer to the launch of Rise of Iron.

As it stands right now, you'd have to purchase ttk. They have alluded to making it "easier" to transition if you're coming from legacy. I'd keep your eyes open for news and bundles.
-
You gotta buy everything (but don't do it just yet; there might be deals coming out soon, after Bungie Day), but you can probably find a cheap Legendary Edition somewhere and then buy RoI The Legendary Edition shouldn't cost more than $20, and maybe less if you get it off a friend, online, or somebody else
-
1 commentaireNo, you will need to purchace TTK again as well as RoI. No legacy upgrade program :(
-
1 commentaireSucks to be you boo boo

4 commentairesJust an advice... get a job and start saving... The new gen will be legacy this year... so your actual legacy is pretty much... vintage.

From what I've heard you can transfer licenses for tdb and HoW, but not ttk. Just roi comes with the dlc so yeah essentially you'd have to buy the next legendary edition when it comes out if you wanted all dlc.
-
Pick up legendary edition from GameStop for 30 and then preorder RoI. I bought an xb1 for the household at Xmas. Picked up TTK legendary from GameStop. Seamless transition for your destiny account. Cheapest way.
-
1 commentaireAs others have said your cheapest option would be to pick up the legendary edition, recently sold for 29.99 (not sure what it is now). This will give you the core game and DLCs (not including RoI).

1 commentaireModifié par erakis1 : 7/4/2016 12:17:05 PMI have a friend that went from last gen vanilla to current gen TTK. He bought the legendary edition used at GameStop for $18 and got TTK, HoW and TDB included.

3 commentairesFollow the sales, you can pick up the legendary edition of the taken king which includes everything for under 50 bucks, it might get even cheaper.
-
They might have a discount come august.

4 commentairesIf your a student then save money from the change you get at school. Isn't that easy? I'm doing this currently to save for RoI and TTK. Its up to my parent's if they buy me a PS4 or not if I can ace my exams
-
I'm pretty sure they're not selling a bundle, just RoI. Does Xbox have a TTK bundle like Playstation?
-
1 commentaireYeah, just rise of iron. Kinda sucks I know, but at least your accepting of the fact and not spitting your dummy out cos mommy and daddy won't buy you a new console, so kudos.
-
C'mon why is DADDYMACKOFNYC not here?
-
Just rise of iron Rise of Iron is a taken king add on Other words you need taken king to play rise of iron

2 commentairesThere's a lot of rumors about giving people who upgrade their consoles for RoI the basic game up to and including TTK for free. Everyone seems to think they'll announce it on Bungie day this upcoming Thursday. So don't give up on it yet. Also consider buying a refurbed Xbone because they are cheaper and usually come with a guarantee from the place you buy it from. Newegg used to sell them and I think you can get them off of Amazon, but since I'm guessing you're British, you probably have other websites to go to as well.

5 commentairesExtra 200 everything up to ttk is 40 so 40 for that and 30 for ROI is 70 no where close to 200 dude
-
7 commentairesYou need the taken king expansion to play Rise of Iron. You can read about it on the website.
