Currently just finished re-reading The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.
Thinking of starting either Glen Cook's The Black Company series or Adrian Tchaikovsky's Shadow of the Apt series.
What are you guys reading and what suggestions for reading might you have?
Other authors I enjoy and have read from
Lincoln Child
Michael Crichton
Steven Erickson
Ian Cameron Esslemont
Neil Gaiman
John Grisham
Guy Gavrial Kay
Stephen King
Dean Koonts
Scott Lynch
Mathew Reilly
James Rollins
Brandon Sanderson
Douglas Preston
And many more! That's most of my regular choices. There are others but i can't remember them right now
Edit- Can't believe I forgot George R. R. Martin. I see some suggestions I'll need to get around to once I've completed my current line up of reading, thanks!

Just started reading United States of Japan by Peter Tieryas. It's a fun little alternate history sci-fi fiction. It's basic plot is that Japan wins WW2 instead of the Allied Forces. The United States is taken over. All forms of media are censored. Naturally there is an underground resistance fighting back. They use a VR video game that simulated what America would be like if the Allied Forces had won WW2. It's amazing so far. The author takes a lot of inspiration from Philip K Dick's stuff.
don't hate :P not saying GoT isn't good, just that WoT is better ;)
Just finished reading one of the Tales of the Dragon Realms collections, gotta pick up more of those. Forget the author though.

1 commentaireI… I don't remember the last novel I read. The only thing that comes to mind is the Wheel of Time series that I borrowed off a friend. Read most of them. Finished each book in a day. Then I couldn't finish the rest because he didn't have the rest or was reading the latest one, I can't remember which.

1 commentaireDune, 2nd time around, because sometimes you pick up on stuff you don't notice the first time, and in such a deep book like Dune its pretty easy to miss something. Fantastic book, though.
