Trials is simply not enjoyable anymore. It gets worse every update. You get punished for using your primary and being an overall better player. They should have never touched the function of trials. The matchmaking is complete ass, you are rewarded for losing (passage coins), and the chest is full of shit. Can't believe people like watching streamers camp choke points for hours and spout memes. This whole -blam!-ing PvP side of the game is a joke. The biggest bullshit is how PvP PUNISHES affective aggressive play. IM SORRY, MY DAMAGE, RANGE, AND ACCURACY IS PENALIZED WHEN JUMP SHOTTING? The maps have way too many choke points that help snipers and scouts more than anything. Bungie needs better map designers. The meta of this game is written down below.... Don't jump or you're -blam!-ed. Don't use a primary weapon or you're -blam!-ed. If you have no special ammo or have no vision on your enemy, camp out for your super and chuck grenades randomly. This game desperately needs primaries to be more consistent. I cannot stress that -blam!-ing enough! /end rant Edit: Just to clarify, in a more muture tone, seeing as this was a rant after I was pissed; movement nerfs are the reason the game plays more passively each update. The blink nerf made it harder to "close the gap" on enemies. ADS time on shotguns and snipers being increased made it harder to combat at closer ranges. Getting "sprint-locked" after sliding makes sliding a not very viable option in movement. And the biggest problem, is accuracy, range, and damage being decreased when jumping. You can't even draw your weapon out when double jumping, but that's up to opinion seeing that could actually be a problem. It's why Snipers seems OP, when in actuality they are not. There is no reason to jump in a gunfight. So unless you are running/jumping away, you will be at head-level in every gunfight lining up a predictable shot for a sniper.
