Major Issues
#1. Spawns don't swap. I mean, come on Bungie. Sides swap in sports where everything is symmetrical anyway. Most Destiny maps are far from symmetrical, meaning 1 side will almost always have an advantage of some sort.
#2. Special ammo. This really breaks the game. Everybody spawns with sniper ammo in round 1 now. Which means, everyone is using snipers. Snipers are objectively the best weapons in pvp, there's no arguing. They have an instant ttk at any range. That's better than a rocket. Trials has devolved to nothing but peeking corners and lanes with snipers, because it's unbeatable. Primaries don't have a fast enough ttk to deal with snipers watching lanes, and you can't get close enough for other special weapons to be effective. Either snipers need serious changes, or special ammo needs to get taken out of Trials in general.
#3. Heavy round. What a joke. Simply put there for fun. Some see it as a chance for the losing team to come back, but it usually ends up just furthering the lead for the team that's winning. It's just a giant truth fest, because why use anything else?
#4. Getting booted. There's nothing more rage inducing than getting booted before a match even starts. Why can't you join a match in progress if you were one of the people originally in the match? So NAT errors can determine games? Pathetic. At least give us a chance to get back in. But nope, Bungie just flips you the bird and takes your mercy even though you didn't even fly in.
Minor Issues
#5. Carries. The emblems don't even mean anything because so many people just get carried. I'll see people with flawless emblems and they have a .5 or .6 kd. You'll end up playing a team with one guy that's trash, but the other 2 are god MLG noscopers that do nothing but play Trials for 14 hours a day and drink shakes made of Doritos and Mountain Dew, and their controllers are sliding out of their hands since they're sweating so much.
#6. Revives, and self res. A teammate may go down, but it doesn't matter. You get them up, and you BOTH get overshields. Why is that team getting rewarded for dying? It's just nonsensical. Or the exact opposite happens. You get killed, and when your teammate revives you, you get 1 hit KO'D by a sniper before you can even move your character. So, the revive can either go bad or good, and somebody is getting screwed regardless. Just take it out of the game. Self res and sunsingers are so useful, a team would be foolish not to have at least one. It's definitely the most supportive and clutch subclass there is, and needs serious reworking to be balanced.
Trials has so much potential to be good. The same could be said for Destiny in general. That's what makes Destiny the best 7/10 or 8/10 you've ever played. It has such good shooting mechanics, unique classes, weapons, armor, environments, etc. The list goes on. But there's so many "what were they thinking?!?!?" kind of flaws that it just boggles my mind. I doubt I need to go into much detail into these, you've all experienced it. Maybe they'll get things right with Destiny 2, it's quickly turning into the last hope I have for this series.

1 commentaire
...drink shakes made of Doritos and Mountain Dew...
I disagree with practically everything you say (stopped reading after a bit) but think the above is absolutely hilarious. 10/10 would laugh again

Bungie knows and doesn't want the game to be competitive. This way they can cycle through metas instead of actually making content. Also why we don't have private matches or ranked playlists. They don't want to be exposed for the joke it is.
-
3 commentairesI enjoy that you refuted your own argument in #6 and didn't even notice.
-
4 commentairesBut you have only managed to go flawless one time
-
1 commentaireIt's as competitive as this game can get
-
1 commentaireHow could you miss the radar? I agree with everything you just said bar one thing. I don't think the self Res is an issue. Yes they can come back from the dead but that's their super gone, other supers can wipe a whole team out in any given round, it's the sacrifice the warlock makes, if anything, I think they should be able to move immediately to guarantee its not wasted which it almost always is nowadays.
-
You choose to express this on the week with the most symmetrical map
-
Trials has always been ruled by whatever is op... doctrine and 1kys are and will be king but soon who knows what counters people will find, personally i enjoy running hardlight and a sidearm to shoot people in lanes without peeking and have the kill speed to deal with those pesky rushers
-
The problem with Trials is that we all think that the point of it is to go flawless and if that doesn't happen there's no point in playing. That is wrong. If you feel this way you have been manipulated by social streamers and this very forum. I play with my friends who are drinking the Doritos. And then I play with my friends who aren't. I have fun in both scenarios. Honestly it's more actual 'fun' to play with no boons in the lower tiers and fight each other. If you think the top tier games aren't competitive...they are. And they aren't all camping sniper lanes. I made a post the other day and got a lot of replies because invited everyone to play trials for the bounties and just to have fun. I hope that's what people did.

Of course it's not competitive... You have a perma radar for starters, don't get me started on bullet drop or breath control. It's easy mode pvp.
-
Never understood why the spawns don't swap
-
All I got from your post is that you SUCK AT TRIALS.
-
#1 and #4 are valid. The rest are git gud
-
Nah u just sux.
-
Bump. Trials is god awful, but sadly its the best the game has to offer. So much wasted opportunity and loss of players because of its poor setup and execution. You make a game mode for ultra try hards only.. that favors sniping and camping... With snipers being as OP as they are.... -blam!-ing mess that people dont want to play. Unless you are a streamer and making money off the poor remaining souls. PVP was actually fun in year 1.
-
3 commentairesThe main problem for me is the sunsinger warlock class is so dominant in trials. Not even counting that its the only class that can revive it self, viking funeral on firebolt grenades can really wreck a team consistently. Damage over time in PvP is stupidly unbalanced, that's why so the thorn isn't in y2 yet
-
Your wrong I 3 tap snipers with the Jade Rabbit like its my job. Just know when to peek and when not too. Plus if you just rush a sniper good like finding my head before my doctrine melts you. Just sayin

27 commentairesIn Y1 no one cried this hard for a sniper nerf. Is it just that veteran players now dominate those who never used a sniper when shotguns ruled?

Modifié par Ceramic_Knight1 : 4/18/2016 6:50:02 AM"Heavy round: simply put there for fun" No sh*t. Are you serious? You mean a video game, something designed for fun, purposefully has elements in it who's only purpose is fun?! That's some front page news there, OP. Also, complains about trials being a joke for competitive players. Then complains about competitive players who do "nothing but play ToO for 14 hours a day".

38 commentairesThe only one I agree with here is #1. Spawns should flip. It would definitely even things out. However, the rest of this is just nonsense. It's only been 5 full days since the update and one trials map and here we have a book of somebody complaining about the changes already. Special ammo is fine. If you can't get close with a shotty or fusion then that is your fault. Stop peeking lanes and use coverage to your favor. Watch lucky and butt wipe, ramblinnn, luminosity or murdaro use a shotty and watch how they move around the map and learn from them. Snipers are fine and don't need a nerf. Can't believe you are complaining about carries. Some people just aren't good enough to make it and they have a right to go as well. If they find two guys to take them then that is up to the two guys to help. Helping the community get end game rewards is both rewarding to the carry and to the guys doing the carry! If you are good enough, you should try it because it is a blast to hear somebody's excitement to go to the lighthouse for the first time. Revives are fine as well. They have changed them and have changed them for the better. The over shield is pretty much garbage now and the addition to revive time has helped a lot. Self rez's are a lot easier to shutdown now as well. Just be prepared for it and know when to expect it. Outside of the map, I think this trials has been a success and the changes have been great! I just don't like black shield. See you in trials guardians

I paid to get carried before...wanted to enjoy the experience of going flawless without putting in hundreds of hours doing PVP. It's why we hire people to do stuff, so we don't have to do it ourselves. That's capitalism.
-
I about lost it when you said shakes made of doritos and mountain dew lol. I agree with most of your points, trials is odd to me now.
-
The only thing I agree with is the heavy round. It shouldn't be in trials. It's the "who can shoot a Truth rocket first" round.
-
Seems fun to me.. :)
