Trials is a pathetic excuse for a "competitive" game mode

Major Issues #1. Spawns don't swap. I mean, come on Bungie. Sides swap in sports where everything is symmetrical anyway. Most Destiny maps are far from symmetrical, meaning 1 side will almost always have an advantage of some sort. #2. Special ammo. This really breaks the game. Everybody spawns with sniper ammo in round 1 now. Which means, everyone is using snipers. Snipers are objectively the best weapons in pvp, there's no arguing. They have an instant ttk at any range. That's better than a rocket. Trials has devolved to nothing but peeking corners and lanes with snipers, because it's unbeatable. Primaries don't have a fast enough ttk to deal with snipers watching lanes, and you can't get close enough for other special weapons to be effective. Either snipers need serious changes, or special ammo needs to get taken out of Trials in general. #3. Heavy round. What a joke. Simply put there for fun. Some see it as a chance for the losing team to come back, but it usually ends up just furthering the lead for the team that's winning. It's just a giant truth fest, because why use anything else? #4. Getting booted. There's nothing more rage inducing than getting booted before a match even starts. Why can't you join a match in progress if you were one of the people originally in the match? So NAT errors can determine games? Pathetic. At least give us a chance to get back in. But nope, Bungie just flips you the bird and takes your mercy even though you didn't even fly in. Minor Issues #5. Carries. The emblems don't even mean anything because so many people just get carried. I'll see people with flawless emblems and they have a .5 or .6 kd. You'll end up playing a team with one guy that's trash, but the other 2 are god MLG noscopers that do nothing but play Trials for 14 hours a day and drink shakes made of Doritos and Mountain Dew, and their controllers are sliding out of their hands since they're sweating so much. #6. Revives, and self res. A teammate may go down, but it doesn't matter. You get them up, and you BOTH get overshields. Why is that team getting rewarded for dying? It's just nonsensical. Or the exact opposite happens. You get killed, and when your teammate revives you, you get 1 hit KO'D by a sniper before you can even move your character. So, the revive can either go bad or good, and somebody is getting screwed regardless. Just take it out of the game. Self res and sunsingers are so useful, a team would be foolish not to have at least one. It's definitely the most supportive and clutch subclass there is, and needs serious reworking to be balanced. Trials has so much potential to be good. The same could be said for Destiny in general. That's what makes Destiny the best 7/10 or 8/10 you've ever played. It has such good shooting mechanics, unique classes, weapons, armor, environments, etc. The list goes on. But there's so many "what were they thinking?!?!?" kind of flaws that it just boggles my mind. I doubt I need to go into much detail into these, you've all experienced it. Maybe they'll get things right with Destiny 2, it's quickly turning into the last hope I have for this series.
