I have read carefully your updates, but unfortunately it seems that your company decided against on bringing a balance to the game to year one customers that they bought TWO expansions but they did not buy the third one!
I would expect to fix the unfair play of:
replacing difficulty level of VANILLA content with difficulty that requires light of TTK expansion
locking us out of the freedom to choose SPECIFIC modes in crucible like we did before TTK.
removed us the ability to earn marks
removed L28 strikes
removed Petra bounties
removed Daily L30
removed nightfall L32
This was bought content, part of Vanilla, TDB, HoW. Yet you have removed it without a valid reason. (other than butchering and deteriorating the game to the point where TTK is rendered a good choice to buy)
CARE TO EXPLAIN ?
CARE TO PROVIDE AN UPDATE ON THIS ?
Show that you are professionals and that you take your customers seriously!
regards

#EDIT 1 : <<you are a poor man, let me give you a penny>>
To all that assume that i do not have 40$ to buy the expansion, i have one comment to make: you present stupidity in all its glory.
So you thought that I created this topic as a complain on why companies release DLCs that we have to pay ?Are you serious? are you taking pills?
I will say one last time: I was willing to buy the expansion. But because I am a buyer with conscious and not some sheep, I waited until i read some reviews. This meant that I have been logging to destiny for at least a week after TTK release. Which means that I started seeing LOCKS everywhere which got my nerves. Yes, because I saw the whole point in this: buy the expansion or else you loose what YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID.
Aftermath ? After reading the reviews and seeing what content they released and TTK dropped its price to around 25 euros, I found that this price was ok. I would never give 40$ for such content. I prefer giving 60$ and buy a new game (yes I have money you slow minded that you came to the conclusion that i am broke)
But I refused to pay even the 25 euros in order to pass my personal message to the company. That is all.
No I am not broke -> see you when I get my Power VR (preordered) and playing Driveclub :D
I hope that I made myself clear now.
EDIT 2 I want the bought content, not the new content for free :=======================================================
some of you insist on saying that i want the new content for free. Please read again my original post.
The list is about activities at Level corresponding to year one level. That is all. VoG and Crota stayed in year one level, why strikes and nightfalls were removed?
On the question why i want these, is because I want some challenge and not L20 strike that can completed even by a blind man.
There is no consistency: They lest 32 and 34 for PoE, but they removed the L28 from strikes. Yes you get some challenge playing PoE 34, but PoE is a boring activity, and prefer playing strikes. I had this option before TTK now it is removed without a reason. Hope I was clear.
EDIT 3 : <<read the EULA you idiot>>==================================================
this is a typical sentence that all game companies state, but that does nto mean that they have to follow this model that they did with expansions.
And let me say that this is not clear: It says that they have the right to suspend any part of the game. Which means ?
Which means that this will be done for all players. They do not state they they cease functions conditionally for customers that do not keep buying next expansions! It does not state:
Bungie may change, modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Program at the time of a new expansion that is out.
In order to be able to use again the certain features and aspects of the program, purchase of new expansion is mandatory.
This is what they should have stated. They create an EULA of 20 pages, and yet they fail to express precisely which are the REAL terms and conditions! Obviously they mislead customers.
update: from the site of Bungie in the LEGAL before you click the buy one can read about the conditions this ONLY:
<<There may be mandatory in-game updates which users must download to continue playing and which may require additional storage. Storage requirements subject to change. >>
So the only thing that they bother telling you is that you will need extra space. No rference for volatile content, removed after new expansion is out and the obligation TO RE-BUY THE OLD CONTENT IN ORDER TO HAVE IT ACCESSIBLE AGAIN.

9 commentairesHow long do you think you should be able to play without making a contribution to upkeep? Should we just keep buying DLC and paying for the live team to keep your game running? That would be awful nice of us. Buy the DLC. Also, I don't know what reviews you read for TTK at the end of the first week, but every last one I read said to buy it.

3 commentairesModifié par Star Gazer2 : 3/21/2016 8:47:59 PMWell, Bungie just confirmed that VoG and CE are not getting updated.

2 commentairesHere's my question to everyone in this situation: How the actual f*ck have you gone 11 months with no new content and still enjoy playing this game? You're aware that there are other video games you can play, right?
-
Modifié par YahyaTV : 3/21/2016 5:09:22 PMTTK is the only expansion I know that adds content whilst simultaneously removes content. Therefore if you do not buy the expansion, you're left in a position with less content than you originally had. Whilst I understand the EULA and that Bungie has the right to remove content at any time without any prior notice, it's a very unethical method of delivering content. Every other game offers expansions and DLC which simply add content to the game, you're not penalised for not buying the DLC, apart from not having access to the new content. What's funny is Bungie actually resell us content we've already purchased, and sadly we pay for it.

1 commentaireFound this quote for people who keep comparing Destiny to an MMO, but I'm pretty sure they won't listen to it, or me, either way. I'll just drop it here and watch the chaos:
Despite having a decidedly MMO-like setup, Destiny isn't an MMO. If you don't buy an expansion for an MMO you usually aren't delivered any penalties other than not getting access to new content. The Taken King, on the other hand, doesn't just add new content--it literally strips original players of endgame access in an extremely coercive attempt to force the $40 expansion upon to these players.
I can explain it for you Year 1 players can still earn marks, it just takes longer. Strike playlists, daily heroics, & nf are considered end game activities, & thus the difficulty has been raised with the level cap for ttk Bungie can remove bounties if they want to. I'm guessing they replaced the year 1 bounties with year 2 ones because it's easier than redesigning her entire menu to appease people that are no longer supporting the game. I agree that the new endgame content is paid for with each purchase, so it stands to reason that the endgame content would go up with ttk. You were locked out of new content every time a new expansion released, not just with ttk.
-
It's very common in mmos for old content to be left behind to make room for new content play. In othwards if you don't keep up your left sitting behind. This is done to keep people playing.
-
I agree. I am surprised how little people care about this. They don't care because they have bought the expansion as soon as it came out. But they never noticed that so many things were removed for Y1 players.
-
4 commentairesLong post bud which can easily be summed up with just a few words. You still have access to what you paid for. You shouldn't get anything included with TTK as you have yet to buy it. Calling anyone that bought TTK "sheep" is not going to get you any support from these forums. Just buy TTK for goodness sake. No-one cares of your presumed plight.

3 commentairesDestiny is a game created to pool in mass amounts of money with minimal effort or money spent during the process. Sure that's the definition of all business practice but when the company manipulates, lies and tricks the customer base is when it turns into bad business ethic. We as gamers have immense passion for the games we play and use them as more than just something to do. We play to enjoy, relax, escape or connect with family and friends. Unfortunately Bungie's original motto wasn't about creating a game they love because the people in charge simply have one goal. Money. It's shown because Investors went with a company that has NEVER created an MMO game before. If the title Destiny doesn't meet the expectations of the yearly earnings goal there won't be Destiny 3. Clearly this practice is highly frowned upon in the gaming community hence the massive backlash from Destiny's player base. If you support the way we are treated or have yet to realize the reality of the situation then go ahead and pay for the next DLC that we already paid for in silver. It's just a matter of time before the last few remaining players see this and move onto better games which I will not mention.

I don't understand I've had Injustice since it came out and it works great! You might want to check your console and move this to #gaming
-
Get over it dude. It's just a game. There are far more greater injustices than a video game.
-
Activision my friend.
-
1 commentaireYou need to fix the injustice to your life. As in just get one.
-
Why should they fix injustice. Clearly it is not a game made by bungie.
-
5 commentairesLol. You must have never played an MMO-esque game before. Get with the times. The game has evolved. You haven't.
-
Injustice? All the Year One Strikes, Two Raids and PoE is still there to play.

1 commentaireDestiny creators know how to run a business (or at least I hope for their sake they do). So they will make sure the only way to stay relevant in the game is to buy the expansions that come out. Your just fooling yourself if you think destiny will ever make old content relative again without a payment involved, it would just be bad buisness
-
1 commentaireThe expansion is on sale in the Xbox store
-
Oh whine your butt off! Oh poor me I have to play level 20 strikes because I refuse to pay 40$ to get an expansion. And even because I refuse to get the expansion I should be entitled to have everything still there for me so that I don't have to pay 40$. Because I guess that's just they way the world works right? I am entitled to everything. NO. How do you think companies like Bungie get there money? Just from the base game sales? No they get their money through DLC's to unlock new and fresh content. So that they can continue to pay their employees to develop more and more content for you to play. So, if a DLC is a little more expensive that means they priced it because it took more people, more time and more effort. So basically by you refusing to buy Taken King you are giving them less money to put in more employees pay checks, causing them to have less employees working on coding which then make less content put into a DLC. While that might make it cheaper, like I said earlier, there will not be a lot of content in it so. As a summary: You are not entitled to anything, and you are killing the fun for the rest of us because they can't pay their workers enough to put a lot of content in.

1 commentaireOp's mommy still won't give him $40 for the game.

Modifié par Star Gazer2 : 3/20/2016 6:28:58 PMIf they wanted us to keep paying just to be able to keep playing this game then they should've just given us monthly subscriptions instead. Not like this community would complain about that anyway, they seem perfectly fine with throwing their money around willy-nilly.
