We killed him twice and he had all the time in the world to prepare for round one, and then had reference after the first fight to go about how to prepare for round two. Then again, the hive are basically glorified power ranger bad guys, so I shouldn't be surprised. 2nd Lieutenant Casey and Naval Commodore Blair defeated nathrakh with a vampire (space superiority fighter), Maine landing craft, a refueling vessel, and a rifle. It took a planet being destroyed and an entire species of nearly unmatched warriors nearly being wiped out to get those bugs to send one vessel just to scope out all the racket (it's basicly an apocalypse prophecy of a race that travels between dimensions to wipe out life and eat prisoners. No space magic, just evil).
