Please, Quit. We Won't Stop You.
Are you angry that Xûr sold Gjallarhorn? Do you feel that unworthy people suddenly got access to the weapon that you covet so much? Does it make you so angry that you're contemplating quitting Destiny and not purchasing The Taken King?
If you answered yes to these, then let me help you out: Go ahead. Quit. In fact, I implore you to quit. I [b]request[/b] that you quit. You are saying that others should be denied personal enjoyment because they were unlucky, or they didn't meet your completely arbitrary personal standards of what it is to be deserving. You are what has been plaguing this community for almost a year now. Your exit is not a loss, but rather a boon gifted to the entirety of the communiy.
So again, please quit. We won't stop you.

1 commentaireWe are The Fatal Uprising, and we are looking for three more dedicated guardians to pillage and plunder all that the taken King has to offer in preparation for the King's Fall raid on September 18th. So, the requirements we have are as follows: 1) You must have three maxed characters of each of the three different classes. 2) Must have acquired all current year one exotics. They do not need to be maxed. We will check you inventory on destiny tracker to confirm. 3) Must have at least 50 raid completions on all three of your characters for both Vault of Glass and Crota. 4) Must have a grimoire score of at least 2900. 5) Must be available for the first week without prior obligations. 6) Must be a team player, be knowledgeable of destiny lore, and possess a sense of innate wonder. 7) Need to be at least rank 3 in all factions across you account (can be one faction per character as long as at least on of your characters have attained this rank account wide per faction). 8) Must have mic and dependable internet connection. No, Kinect mics I'll not be accepted. Yes, this does at first glance come off as an elitist recruitment post. However, we are serious about going for worlds first, and being among the few to experience things day one. So pointing flaws in the game is forbidden now? People bitch about things that should be changed, and most often then not, they are right. I've been trying to tell people not to pre-order TKK to hurt BungieVision where it hurts, their wallets, so that they see that the behavior they are practicing is not okay. Selling us a half finished game, and having dlc even before the game drops? And then, a year later sell an expansion, that has things that the base game should have had (cinematics,story,characters) for 40--blam!-ing- dollars? Are yoy shittin' me??? And then there are people like you that just say "well if you don't like the game then don't play it"...that's not the answer...we need to push bungie so that they see that they can't just keep -blam!-ing us in the ass again and again. Rant -blam!-ing over

"The nine also frown upon tardiness..." Xur's voice rang out over the com system of his ship. "They have demanded I teach you a lesson about these things, guardian. That is why now, you have my permission to cry." With that the ship hurtled towards space, not to be seen again till next week, and the shocked guardian fell to his knees and cried out, tears rolling down his cheeks. "XUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRR! Damn you! Damn you to hell!"

I'm not quitting, but rather taking a break from this game until the 15th. I only needed to kill Skolas for my last moment of triumph, and I accomplished that this morning. At this point there's nothing for me to really do until TTK comes out. Actually I'll check to see what Xûr is selling and decide if I should get on to buy it, but other than that I'm temporarily done with this game.
