Iron Banner is now shit.
All it is now is everyone using thorn and last word. You can't do anything unless you use them too. Hand cannons need a nerf right now.
Edit: I see the community is divided. To nerf or not to nerf? That is the question.
Edit2: So it seems the better option is to buff everything else. This is good but still doesn't fix the Time to kill. I say buff everything else and add a little more health.
Edit3: As the day went on less were being used but we're still annoying. I'll just try harder to avoid them.

I got rank 5 using Suros, Secret Handshake, and Valedictorian plus a lot of Shoulder Chargers and Titan Smashes. Either had a +3.0 KDR or 1.5>. Only because I ran it Solo...

Maybe if bungie would have left the other guns alone. The keep nerfing everything. Every IB dating back to 1.0 has had that one gun stand out. It used to be SUROS, then any fusion rifle, then shottys.

In pvp yeah they are OP that's obvious to everyone but in pve they should be left alone. That's my thoughts anyway. Unless the boost the vex back to its former glory.. Then I'm for a nerf in pvp

The thing is people play pve and use the wepons everyone keeps crying for a nerf. Don't go -blam!-ing up my hand cannons I love to use in pve just because you all suck at pvp!!

Last word and red death lmao the literal end of iron banner, is so fun when scrubs cannot get a kill without holding a trigger down or of course, having to use a gun for health regeneration lololol

Bunch of thorn and sniper baddies who camp. Which is why control is terrible. So much more easier to camp. Need inferno.

1 commentaireRun as a Hunter (always Hunter) and equip Thorn and Felwinters. For a bonus, Bladedance with blink. If you aren't running this load out you are severely handicapping yourself.

EDIT: Also, just because you can't kill someone doesn't mean you shouldn't put shots into them for any amount of time. Teammates cleaning up kills was just as big a thing in Halo 2 and 3 days as it is today. The team which forces players to expose themselves to damage wins most matches for a few reasons: They have to take cover and watch teammates die or risk getting killed for stepping into a window opportunity. Shoot them up and wait for them to come forward. They will. And they will hate the fact their flanks got run because their teammates aren't doing well.

Well...there is red death. And bad juju. And 3 little words. And other hand cannons. And Mida. And VoC. and snipers as well as good shot guns. There are plenty of ways to counter other weapons

Hand Cannons are always going to be the highest Impact Primary weapons in the game, only Scout Rifles coming near it. It has excellent controllability; and no amount of nerfs would incentivise people using a high damage weapon, as they can move closer to their opponent if they find they have control issues.

Want to know why it is the way that it is? Take a look in the mirror. Cry babies like yourself caused the series of nerfs and over buffs pidgeonholing players into this playstyle.

4 commentairesKeep your distance and stay close to cover. This seems to neutralize Thorn the best. I ran into a few Thorn gangs last night. Harass with a good scout or pulse. I find most have a hard time shooting with Thorn if they have to move and do it.
