Well that hot fix lasted all of 1 hour... (templar)
People already exploiting him again.
Get to work bungie, since you failed the first time.

1 commentaireLol cheesing the Templar wasn't cheating or an exploit. It was cheap. Cheap /= cheating. It's just like the vex mytho before patch. It was cheap. But cheap /= cheating. Now if they were hiding in a wall or up under the map that's a different story. I personally don't have a problem with what bungie has done. I did it the normal way and the cheap way. With that being said, bungie patching things that don't really effect anyone else's gameplay is kind of a sad thing to see from a developer I once loved.

1 commentaireObviously Bungie doesn't mean for this to happen, otherwise why develop all the other fight mechanics? Can't really knock the player base for finding ways to kill bosses that stay in line with the mechanics of the game. That being said, can't this be a simple fix? Boss gets pushed off, auto wipe, reset fight. For any, and every, boss.

9 commentairesWhy is everyone so upset about these exploits that don't affect them? Does it take away your enjoyment so much? I don't get raid often, when I do I follow directions and do my best to stay alive. I want to have fun, but I don't want to spend 3 hours or more attempting to do these encounters. I'm too old to be wasting my time like that. I know these are supposed to be hard, and they still are, the entire thing is a puzzle...even the boss fights are interactive puzzles. For that reason people finding new ways to kill the bosses should be celebrated because some of these encounters feel cheap. I would like to point out in all the MMOs I have played, this is the first I've seen people complaining about exploits and wanting them to get fixed. I personally just assume you guys don't have friends that are willing to take you along or are Crucible players who want those who PVE to be miserable and not get guns or gear that might challenge your dominance.

If you want to complete it quickly and get back to real life and your real friends, then thats also your choice. Fed up with people criticizing other people for their play styles.

28 commentairesBungie should just make it so that if the boss is pushed off he respawns with all his health and goes into an enraged mode against the fireteam. I bet that would discourage all these players from cheating all the time.

8 commentairesNo matter what they patch people will find another way. It was only a matter of time. People knew Antheon did this so why not try it here. While we all know this is not how the boss was meant to be handled it is also expected fir people to find these things. While I agree that the falling thing is BS I don't agree with the ledge that they patched. That was not an exploit. People found a safe place to fight from. This happens in strikes and nightfall. Don't really see these as exploits. If people can take cover and fight from safety that's smart. But that's just me.

My raid team and I pushed him off the edge after many wipes perfecting our strategy. My advice: is put non warlock classes on relic duty and harpy killing duty, just leave the oracles alone. Stay under the platform which is to the left of the glowing plate (you know the place where you go if u step in the green stuff from the fanatics) under the platform, have your relic hold stay in one place for an easy cleanse. The warlocks should jump out and throw their nades at his shield or on the ground in front of him. Don't rush it he won't teleport but keep a pace so he doesn't walk back down the stairs. Hope I can help.

the problem is, you need people to find these exploits before being able to fix them. So as people find them they will be fixed its a cat and mouse game where the cat never really wins.

Let them patch it or don't, doesn't really make a difference. By pushing those two fellas off you gain an advantage of like ten minutes as they will die anyways.

9 commentairesthe few things i've missed out on lately have really annoyed me. I missed the cave grinding I saw people doing it but just thought it was an odd mission (that's before I joined the forums) so I didn't up my level easily or quickly, so my weapons are a bit crap. then I missed the over powered guns because I missed the cave. i've missed the start of the vault because I was looking for light and now i'm not even going bother with the vault until i'm level 30 witch at this rate wont be for a month or more by that time I will become an occasional player in destiny and ill still be looking for shards and vanguard marks witch gets annoying at times. new games are coming out and ill want to play some of them as well. god know how many more updates there's going to be before then. I want to cheat sometimes if I don't have time to do it properly but I also like to play it properly when I can to relax I don't need rewards all the time ive come this far with out that many really good ones so I think on the ocations when I want to cheat the game, the reward system could be suspended at that pointtill im done, if you take all the stuff out that makes both styles possible it will be hard to have a quick game or just play it because its fun to blast stuff to pieces without dyeing all the time.
