I have run into a problem that is keeping me from progressing the quest Dark Academia. On step one, the quest tells me to scan the device, the remains, and the shrine in order to progress. I was able to scan the device, but I am unable to interact with anything else in the room, including the shrine and remains. When I interacted with the device, the quest step updated to reflect that, and the audio line for the device played where Ikora called it an engine, but no other interaction prompt appears in the room. I have reloaded the instance several times, abandoned and reacquired the quest, and it's still stuck. Every time I reload the instance and visit the room, the audio dialogue that you hear when you approach the locked door plays again (the one where Ikora says the Aionians haven't been able to get in there for a hot minute), even though the door has been open ever since I unlocked it the first time.
Hi there, Thanks for your report! We've already passed this issue on to the team so they can look into it. That said, for anyone affected by this issue who is unable to complete the needed interactions with the shrine and remains for Dark Academia, please try completing the Outer Steppes Strangelet quest first. Some players have reported that fully finishing that quest, including turning in the Strangelet and watching the cutscene, enables the interactions required for Dark Academia.

1 commentaireModifié par Shire : 7/16/2025 5:08:13 AMSo, weird thing. I revisited the location as part of the Orientation side mission, and I was able to interact with the shrine and remains. Not sure why, but leaving it and coming back later in the story appears to have fixed it.
