It takes 4 to 5 shots from most scouts and usually the barrier can regenerate it’s health back to full. Hell wicked implement Stinks it’s horrible. I’m just saying this needs to be addressed they need a bump in damage to make them more viable. There are some that work great but most are horrible thank god for wish ender

1 commentaireYou can use Wish Ender or Erianna's. Stop trying to double primary in high content.

give in to shotguns, Saint's curated roll that I think everyone gets it so awesome on barrier champs
-
5 commentairesWe have Wishender and Arbalest.

5 commentairesSome brain dead clown at Bungo thought it'd be a great laugh to add it into the artifact as anti barrier. I've actually swapped from Hunter to Titan with Thunder Crash just to insta nuke these damn things. These Muppets have no forking clue how this game plays, only how it pays.

Modifié par Vx BiOHaZarD Vx : 11/10/2024 4:52:50 PMFor those who are curious, you can roll a Randy's throwing knife from Shax with: - armor peirce rounds - over-under - kinetic tremors. Combined with the barrier scout mod, this thing slaps all sheild types in GMs by itself, including barriers, because the high 260 fire rate procs kinetic tremors FAST and competes well with things like wish ender if you're looking for that solo-take down satisfaction. I've been using mine for the last 3 weeks in difficult strikes and it's amazing. Tis my suggestion. Will it be useful in the next season? Probably not. But I kept it in my vault in case "scout barriers" came around again and it was well worth it. This also allows you to use any secondary and heavy of your choice, depending on the burns, and whatever subclass you want. This week i've been using Randy's throwing knife, choir of one, and edge transit with bait and switch. Edit: To be fair, I've tried a LOT of scouts with all damage types. Kinetic tremors has always been very effective on barriers regardless of what kind of weapon. Armor peirce and over-under simply supplement this and will continue damaging champs even when you have escape line of fire. It's purely to break shields and low combatant damage. It's not exactly a DPS option, but what scout is besides polaris lance? I'd rather not sacrifice my exotic slot to simply deal with nuisance barriers.
-
This is true. I tried Polaris it’s terrible. Only okish option in my vault is a kinetic tremor hung jury. I had to run wishender for the master lost sector yesterday.
-
2 commentairesDon't use a scout maybe? 🤔 There are a few weapons that are intrinsic anti-barrier way better than a scout.
-
Scout is not your only anti-barrier option, you have a large toolkit for a reason.
-
3 commentairesRandy’s throwing knife with under over and kinetic tremors puts in work popping shields.

Modifié par SCRFY N3RF HRDR : 11/10/2024 4:03:18 PMI’ve been running a 200 rpm lightweight Omolon disruption break scout to pair with Microcosm When you have the Microcosms damage perk + Disruption Break + radiant Once shielded enemies get SHREDDED PSA: This applies to Antibarriers stunned with this scout too
-
Remember when we were in a season where Polaris Lance could chain ignitions and have Radiant up, making it great in Nightfalls like GM reworked Lake of Shadows? Now this season being focused so much on GLs make using Polaris Lance a second guess.

16 commentaires
Hell wicked implement isn’t even breaking the shield in GM’s this need to be addressed.
It applies slow, if you go to your character screen an hover over overload you will see that slow stuns overloads, wi applies slow, common sense means wi stuns overloads an won't pair with barrier scout.
-
13 commentairesWicked stuns overload and unstops due to it having intrinsic subclass verbs that are anti-champion. Bungie stated that they will not allow a single weapon to deal with every champion when they added the subclass verbs to them and made subclass verbs anti-champion. It was addressed originally using chill clip as that can stun 2 champion types, Bungie made clear that those types of weapons would never be able to stun the third type under any circumstances. It is completely intentional and has been made very clear many times on these forums to others like you who do not keep up with the game news.

4 commentairesWicked implement thing is not a bug is not supposed to break barrier shields.

I agree, in echoes where the anti barrier was a pulse rifle was peak, and now it's just the two types of weapons I use the least
-
1 commentaireGot lucky with a shiny Hung Jury with Explosive + KT. I can assure you that explosive works well for it. A 180 that takes only 4-5 shots feels more reasonable when put into practice.
-
1 commentaireNothing needs to be addressed with WI since it’s not supposed to break barrier shields But yea scouts are -blam!-

2 commentairesModifié par TwinStripe9070 : 11/8/2024 10:50:56 AMI think it depends a lot the SR - something that also applies an AoE effect is handy in case your aim isn't spot on every time and a decent RoF is useful too. Polaris Lance and Oxygen SR3 can be fun (the latter goes from pretty weak to absolute beast on solar shields) and Red Tape can be disturbingly good too (especially if you have Rimestealer/Headstone and you can get those headshots in after breaking the shield) Wicked Implement is a known issue - the inherent trait of an exotic ALWAYS takes precedence over the seasonal trait (so it will act more like an overload weapon this season than a barrier one)
-
It will cost more time but if I'm solo, and it's barrier, I'll hurt em with my first slot gun, and a few shots B4 he puts the barrier up I'll switch to my secondary gun, being the scout and shoot, it usually takes 3 or 4 shots the the barrier goes up n I quickly switch to heavy fin em off den reload all guns, but when U low on heavy, abilities come into play for champs, and also heavy pick up finders too just too have dem there 2 fin dem off quick when Der down half or under
-
For me it's not Dat bad, yes sometimes in lost sectors or higher end, but for me, especially barriers, I throw out 3 made launchers and quickly double tap triangle, as mines in special/ second slot, but primary weapon and start shooting straight away, now he will get close to half way but as soon as I stun him I can fin em quickly switching back 2 heavy, not goina like, yes sometimes reload of heavy or what not gets in the way and 3 sec or so will refill em, but fore being a solo, it can be done grand, and Iv also FD up with a reload n den waisted my heavy so dat I could nearly call a wipe, but also remember the likes of scorch jolt n freeze dat can also help U stun dem instead of weapons too, Just to keep in mind, for help, not criticism.

3 commentairesWhat if Scout Rifles did alot more damage, but changed to special ammo After Choir and double special metas, I would be cool with that
-
2 commentairesEriana’s Vow will solve all your problems with barrier’s.
-
It could b argued if the champion in question is receiving team fire, it'll go down faster anyway. Impo I would reduce it slightly though.
-
Modifié par xbroggiex : 11/8/2024 5:42:27 AMThey should take what they did for handcannons and do that with scout rifles albeit maybe with just precision damage. Buff Scout Rifles by like a good 30-40% precision damage against majors, mini-bosses and champions then it might not feel like pulling teeth when its anti-barrier scout.

Legendary Scouts just feel weak. I’ve got a Patron of Lost Causes with enhanced Triple Tap AND Vorpal Weapon, but it still feels like I’m just plinking away at anything with a yellow health bar.
