After further investigation… we’ve noticed that the criteria we use for balancing teams in pvp is not working as intended.
They gotta say this at some point. My last 10 games of comp the opposing team was favored to win in 8 of them. Same for trials. It seems that they put the 3 lower skilled players on the same team while the other team is loaded.
That’s my experience and no one can change my mind.

Why don't you focus on what you can control and leave the rest alone? It's crazy to me how much faith you have in match predictions and ELO. The game is far too complicated to simplify your "skill" down to a single number. Your "skill" isn't set in stone. It depends on a ton of factors, including the map, who you're playing with, who you're playing against, and even your state of mind at the time. Even if it were possible to accurately predict a player's performance, then what? It would be basically impossible to balance teams perfectly. One team or the other would always have an advantage. No matter what the odds are, you can still win. Quit worrying about these random stats and just play the game. If you need or want more control over your teammates, then group up with some players.

31 commentairesYou probably shouldn't let someone change your mind that it happened. That would be weird. What you're talking about could have happened for a lot of reasons including "playing too much" comp. You're not supposed to play comp "too much."
