Seeing a lot of resources going into Marathon and not Destiny leaves me feeling bitter. Destiny is in a bad state right now and needs all the help it can get.

14 commentairesBungie is great at hyping stuff up, but I doubt Bungie will bring much of the existing Destiny crowd into Marathon. Especially with what you said about them pulling resources that could be used for Destiny 2 into Marathon instead. Im sure they’ll get people who were fans of their games before Destiny back in, but I don’t know how long they can keep if. If Bungie puts too much focus on micro transactions in Marathon as they do in Destiny 2, then it’ll probably drive the new crowd away.

People keep buying and playing so bunji thinks the game is doing just fine. They pay attention to numbers a lot more than people.

2 commentaires1) Dont Buy Marathon. 2) Stop buying Bungie Products. 3) Stop giving them Data.

The only time this game reached some of it's potential was with Forsaken. Before that and after that was and has been in a very poor state. The game is about to be dropped as D1 was so this is the best they will offer.

Putting more effort into destiny is a waste of resources. The game would be in a much better state and we wouldn't need the DCV if Bungie dropped old gen consoles

And let me guess, you’ll use that bitterness to buy more seasons and add more play time, right?

This is just a personal impression. I have no evidence to support this and I may be completely wrong. It is just an idea that reached my head in the last times. I suppose that Bungie after all this years trying to make Destiny "something" and see that everything they tried didn't work out as expected, kinda got tired. I mean, they got stressed at the point they probably just want to close this chapter and move on. And honestly, I don't feel to blame them for that. It seems that what they're doing is just keeping D2 alive with the bare minimum and trying to monetize it as much as possible as long as they can. Again: this is just an impression and I may be completely wrong.

WTF, I thought I was the only Destiny player on here!

Definitely think it's far more likely that having two games will make them both better. Hopefully with marathon PvP there will be far less of having to choose between two halves of a whole thing that should not be taking place.

8 commentairesHopefully marathon will be my new game. I’m glad they are putting their efforts into a new pvp game. Hopefully they completely remove sbmm for the remainder of destiny’s life because it doesn’t belong here in a game like destiny. Comp and trials yes but not quickplay and rotation modes.

Marathon is next gen console and PC only. Sony wants a new PS5 game and doesn't care about Xbox One and PS4 players. They see putting more effort into D2 as a waste of money.

23 commentairesSo they shouldn’t make more games then?

I agree I’ve been in this ship before, I’m still bitter at the company to this day even though it was 3 years ago
