Witch queen is overhyped
Bungie basically made the previous 2 seasons so trashy and boring that this expansion by default looks better than previous content.
Car companies and all other big corporations use this tactic as well and it woeks because about 80% of people here are dopamine addicts and some are even proud of being dopamine junkies.
Obviously an addict will never admit that the game he is addicted to is total trash. Thats why so many people here defend it ...its a psychological fact you can research it . Very easy to find on google about dopamine addiction and video games

2 commentairesFun Fact [spoiler]Most people know it gets overhyped, its called marketing[/spoiler] However, Witch Queen has been much better than any expansion in D2 beside Forsaken (WQ is better imo but the Community thinks its neck and neck from what I see) Positives -Campaign is by far the best in the franchise -Weapon Crafting has work needed but is stil solid -Raid is very good, especially lore wise -Season Of The Risen is also very good -The Void Revamp has been amazing and can't wait for Solar and Arc to get their Treatment Negatives(Not all are directed at Witch Queen) -Core Playlist still need help, they are showing their age bad -As Stated before, Weapon Crafting needs work. Mostly we just need more weapons to craft. -The fate of Adept Weapons are also in the air. With Crafting having Enhanced Perks, Adept weapons seem like they're not really worth the grind. The Good though I will say outwieghs the bad. And many issues aren't tied to Witch Queen itself, its just the core problems that the game has been suffering from.

It 100 % is overhyped. Bungie themselves lied multiple times with this release already. "Bigger than Forsaken btw". Yea sure buddy. This expansion has a tiny raid, repetitive tasks everywhere making it seem like a lot of "content" and nothing really substential and fun. Not only that, it took them half a year longer to make. We got a really good campaign yes. But noone i know plays campaigns over and over again so yea thats good as a one time thing but also wasted dev time considering noone keeps replaying it. I would have rather had pvp maps, modes, content overall, gambit maps, strikes etc. Cause what are we playing when D2's seasons slow down? Yep, other games. Why? Cause the pillar activities are 4 and a half year old trash that hasn't been updated at all and only gotten content removed. No qol and content for the main activities other than the trash gambit update that somehow made the worst game mode played by only 4 % of the players even worse. I dunno why their currently only live service game is such a backburner already before they even released their next game but hey, good luck selling copies for that upcoming game. Knowing they just cash cow games like D2 sooner or later, i will not buy their next game.

8 commentairesIf we examine bungie since Pong alot of you won't even know what pong is Some of us were there and have been all the way through This expansion is very good The best content destiny 2 has had Many many of us were calling out for the D1 nightfalls to expand into the light being used against us in some form and boom we have finally got it This seasons artifact is super powerful Who doesn't want large groups of enemies blowing up in a void explosion I heard endless cries about pvp I only had time to run my lock through all 4 bounties...some of us work and don't sit there getting their asses wiped on state benefits wasting away on destiny all day...oh woops I'm vering off topic Yes PVP it's feels ok it's fun the variation of weapons you can use has greatly expanded, the classes are more balanced We got crafting The void 3.0 rework is epic and the arc and solar are much to look forward too Nice lump of new weapons and exotics The armours look good I would honestly say destiny 2 right now is in a good place They have combined enough of D1 and D2 now to make it feel like the Destiny universe And hey if you get bored there are countless other games Take a season off Burn out is a horrible thing.....it does and will come to a point where no matter what they do..your unhappy and dissatisfied Did you know uninstall game is a free choice Did you know you can always return in 3 months 6 months when the burn out has gone

Destiny still does some things very well, industry leading in some cases. But where it falls short, it doesn’t much matter because it’s competing against games that do a lot of things far worse you could argue

For sure it is, Bungie has a really good marketing team who using nostalgia really well. Its probably a decent dlc in general, but for me its just thrash cuz I prefer to play PvP.

Especially in comparison to Black Armory, Drifter, Chosen, Hunt, and ESPECIALLY Undying. Literally everyone in the world is a "dopamine addict." You do what makes you feel good, that's basic human psychology. Not to mention, I highly doubt every other year model of car is intentionally terrible, especially considering how few people get every year model of car, if even every fifth. And I'm the first person to criticize this game. But at the same time. If you're like this, why waste time posting this and things like it? Just move on. I don't like Overwatch, but I don't go onto the forums and post this garbage there.

8 commentaireslet me be more specific here for people who dont understand the game mechanics based on you constantly dying and respawning is and always has been dumb in this game or any other games it happens when the game designer runs out of ideas on how to create more challenging content So they create this abortion of a boss fight that basically forces you into a single set of moves in order to stay alive there is no strategy just running around in circles while trying to land a shot here and there Same issue with the witch boss room that has 3 small rooms filled with enemies that basically follow you around and you have no place to even hide to recover your health. I played about 99% of this game solo so far and there is not much to do besides grinding for loot the entire game is based on loot and running from one boss fight to another because to create interesting content bungie would actually have to do some real work and create interesting world in game like they once did with dreaming city and io and bray exoscience they would actually have to create an interactive world rather than look but dont touch space in the whole game

I work in marketing, and your assumption is not only baseless, but makes you look like you want to appear more intelligent than you really are by throwing out false facts. This isn't the nightly news, so you can't toss out BS and make people believe it. Whether a season is bad or good, over hyped, or unworthy is 100% subjective. This is something companies rely on to get the majority of people's opinions on what they think will make them happy. They don't care about the outliers, the one offs, or the whiny cry babies. They care about the bulk of the people. Bungie, Blizzard, Treyarch, Disneyland, MGM - they all use this strategy. If you think you are entitled for companies to cater to your one point of view, you are in for a big reality check. While you are entitled to your opinion, whining about it does nothing. If you hate it so much, it may be less stress inducing to find another game

I dont think so. Bungie hypes every release like this regardless of what they are releasing The campaign has been better than ever before. Even though, the usual untested game issues swarms the expansion, in-game economy doesnt really make sense (but it seems Hotfix check some boxes there). The communication from Director has also been better even the CMs are the same useless ones. Crafting was clearly not designed very well which can be deduced to Bungie changing the system in the last minute (you can check the TWAB before release that explains how crafting would work, apart from the 1st sentence none of it actually came into the game while they left the currencies in the game). Void 3 is nice but makes other sub classes a less usefull especially if you are playing solo. PvP is the dumbster fire it always is.

Otherwise people start to think you’re just mad because you keep getting your -blam!- kicked by one story boss and decided to vent that frustration on the product itself rather than examining why you might be failing.

You even seen plenty of people comparing this to Forsaken. In what world does this DLC compare to all of what Forsaken brought to the game?

2 commentairesOutside of the campaign, legendary or normal, this DLC is straight dumpster juice. Worst of the worse; rinse and repeat sh!t arena modes, RNG on top of RNG with attached triumphs to said RNG.

2 commentairesYes, Forsaken is better. WQ was overhyped, the main antagonist was underwhelmingly killed, and glaives are meh, with the exotics sucking.
