3 commentairesOnly way to do that is to bring back large maps like we had in D1

Modifié par coda-jj : 6/4/2021 3:53:10 AMIn pvp, Although I’d like to be able to use other weapons besides a 120 and a shotgun, scouts y1 D2 meta was probably the worst meta ever. You’ll have nothing but Team shooting and no action. We need bigger maps for different weapon types. Yes, pve needs a little buff

10 commentairesMy Polaris lance says scouts are fine, easily team wipe everyone in Gambit, and crucible xD
-
Not likely to happen - Bungie has commented that Scout Rifles are in a good place now - NOT! IMHO!
-
Modifié par Bieltan : 6/1/2021 8:38:58 PMThey all need a boost to their precision damage. Night Watch w/explosive rounds outclasses all scout rifles to a ludicrous degree, and doesnt really suffer too much from imprecise shooting. Thats.... not how Scouts should be. Like Snipers and Hand Cannons, they should reward good aim.
-
2 commentairesAlso reduce enemy flinch. You hit a Vandal and it jumps ten feet to the side. That's not even real physics. Not that anyone at Bungle knows anything about physics. Scouts used to be my prime weapon. Now I only use them for specific bounties.
-
4 commentairesThe first thing they should do is revert the need to precision damage they introduced in shadowkeep. Do that and scouts will finally start to do some decent damage in pve.

Make Scouts Great Again! (tm)

2 commentairesAs someone who often plays D1... returning to D2 sometimes is a letdown. In D1, scouts can 1 shot acolytes and Vandals. In D2 they are 2-3 shots but bows can 1 shot. In D2 my Hung Jury shoots slower than my D1 Last Extremity and takes more shots to kill. In activities where scorn cross bows, Vandals snipers, and hobgoblin can 1-2 tap us, our weapons take 5-6 shots to kill back... that seems a little lop sided to me. I thought that we were the God slayers?
-
It's not just scouts, awhile ago they nerfed the crit modifier which hit HCs and scouts the hardest. They seriously need to revert that shit.

Modifié par ChaseyCakes : 6/2/2021 12:51:31 AMReduce flinch and increase their damage in pve. Side note handcannons pulses and autos could also use a damage buff in pve.
-
I'll start with pve. I would buff the 180 rpm scout rifle dps to match that of the 200 rpm. The total damage per bullet as a result would increase as well. This is so 180s can stand out. I would also increase the crit damage of 150 scouts to one hit kill stuff more often this would give a reason to use one over a higher rpm scout. Slighty increase body shot damage but not as much as crits. 260 rpm can get a slight damage buff. Pvp Increase 180 rpm damage to 62 crit and 39 body. This makes them 2 crit 2 body all guardians. Yes this also means you can 3 crit 1 resilience guardians. Increase 150rpm body shot damage to 40.5. And 69 crit for lol's. This just let's them 5 body every guardian. Increase 260 rpm scout damage to 31 per body. This lets them 3 body 2 crit.

Modifié par Codykins : 6/2/2021 7:27:09 AM180 Archetype Scouts definitely need some love, especially in PvP. They currently do 55 to the head, and, what, 35 to the body? They need to be buffed up to their D1 Values; 61 Crit, 39 Body. That would quite literally put them right in their correct damage ratio for their RPM archetype, Since it currently goes 45 -> 54 -> 55 -> 68 (Precision Damage, in order of Rapid-Fire, Lightweight, Precision, Aggressive). As it stands now, there's quite literally no reason to use them in PvP over a 200 RPM, because Lightweight frames do, quite literally, the same exact damage but faster (54 - 55, 34 - 35). Scout rifles in general PvE only feel viable in higher level content with Explosive Rounds / Kill Clip / Rampage, otherwise, other weapons archetypes seem to do their job better and faster, since most encounters are going to be done semi-upclose, anyways. Opinion coming from an extreme scout rifle main.

I think if scouts got buffed it would Need to exclude dead man's cause that gun feels like the only really competitive scout plus I rly wanna use vision of confluence
-
9 commentairesPvE? Yes please, please!! PvP? Nope, they're fine as they are, just that these maps favor Handcannon and Shotguns more, longer range maps like Midtown, Jade or Deadmans and even Mida Dominate.
-
I would have agreed with the scout rifle buff but the 15% increase in critical bloom recently did it for me. Scout rifles are pretty good IMO.
-
11 commentairesScout rifles do not need a damage buff because they are good where they are. They benefit from having far range and little risk to you. 1 shot shanks, 2 shot dregs, 3 shot vandals. The game becomes too easy once youll be able to 2 body shot medium class enemies like vandals. There will be no point in close ranged weapons side arms and smgs. Destiny 1 had the scout meta. And guess what the community did. Corner camped, headglitched bosses while taking pot shots with scouts. Such gameplay is stale and needs to add a sense of danger to you.
-
But Bungie wants auto rifles to shoot farther and more accurately. They have such a biased group and sandboxers that cant balance because they always have to favor. I

1 commentaireThe only scout I use is night watch. I don’t even like dead mans. Overrated weapon I’m sitting in god roll hung juries and VoCs that I will most likely never touch until scouts (especially the 180s) get some love
-
Modifié par Double07 : 6/1/2021 7:29:09 PMIn my opinion, the perk combinations aren't good anymore. In the first game, there was a chance you could get a scout with crowd control, explosive rounds, and firefly. Bumping, for hope.
-
This is dangerously close to asking for all scout rifle to matter
-
3 commentairesScout Rifles seem heavily dependent upon the perks you roll on them. My Hung Jury with Rapid Hit and Explosive Payload is great, as is my Deadman's Tale with Subsistence, these seem to be the perks you want, Outlaw is good as well and Dragon Fly can be OK. Otherwise Scouts are a hard to sell weapon.
-
2 commentairesDAMAGE! Specifically a DAMAGE buff! NOT aim assist. NOT effective range. Not stability or reload speed or magazine size or whatever else you want to buff. They NEED to hit harder in order to be viable outside of champion bullets. Seriously, everyone says these guns suck because they do less damage per bullet than 900RPM SMGs.
-
Scout Rifles need a disperate buff in PvE. Basically, all good Scout Rifles are good except for the fact that they're are Scout Rifles...
