Hey dude,
Although we have differences surrounding cbmm/ sbmm- it should be noted that you have hardly any time in crucible what-so-ever.
The fact that you would leave the game over changes to a mode you barely play is baffling.
It should also be noted that the more one plays pvp, the better they become and being about average is enough to have great matches in the current crucible climate.
There are a ton of videos online and many players who would be willing to help.
While it may seem like 99% of matches are vs top tier players, it simply is not the case. Most are average at best and that is a fact. But seeing as you rarely play, they may seem super good.
Bungie has made a change that ultimately means you have to become average which isn't unfair because honestly, with a few very easy tweaks to play-style you could compete and have fun too!
Here are two huge tips to get you started if you are interested in becoming a better player and not just wanting to be shielded by matchmaking:
- You should be looking at your radar as much as your environment.
- Learn to disengage if hit first, reposition/ heal and re-engage.
I can tell if a player is good within 0.4 seconds of engaging them. If they disengage then I know they're decent.
Bad players often dont consider game sense. Walking in a straight line or standing in one spot without strafing is a no no.
SBMM does not do any bad player favours as they will never get punished for fundamental errors thus they rarely improve.
It is up to you, not bungie to improve and I can assure you the line between average and bad is not too far. If you are willing to apply some game sense and time you could be in control of your game.
All the best, somebody with 160,000 pvp kills

Er bs. I was getting better slowly but surely. Bust being an old fatlrt, the reaction time ain't getting better and thumbs are getting stiffer. By the way, how much of this have you done real life? How many men have you actually trained and taken into combat?

I'm sorry to hear about any physical conditions that may interrupt your gaming and such. I was as polite and objective as possible towards you but met with 'bullshit' as a response so i'll kindly mute you and move on. My father is of the same age, has echoed your exact words albeit he enjoys it all the same. Perhaps sbmm/ cbmm isn't the actual problem but I do hope you can find ways to enjoy destiny. All the best.
