First of all, Thank you Bungie for this awesome mission, i liked it alot and will continue to enjoy it in the weeks to come. Now to the topic: I see a lot of people complaining about the timer (in ZH and in Whisper). Personaly i think it is good that the mission has one. The developers dont hand another exotic randomly to the community, like almost every other exotic. You have to earn it, by showing some kind of mastery in combat and acrobatic. If you're one of those guys, who dont wanna play with others, thats your choice. You can do it alone (less than 24h after release there are already Solo Flawless runs online) It will not kill you to search for a group on the Bungie LFG or reddit. You dont even have to talk to those people 90% of the time, nor do you have to add them to your friendlist. Just invite them to your fireteam and go for a 20 minute run. It wont kill you. Designing a Multiplayer Game at every aspect around Solo Players worsen the main appeal of the game itself. If it is so easy nobody would care. And yes i know, the Solo Player in Multiplayer games is normal not exception. But you're giving yourself a handicap, dont ruin the fun for others if you cant handle it. TLDR: Games like Destiny should not balance entirely around Solo-Players and stay with their Main appeal of coop. Edit: For the ones saying the timer has no lore implication whatsoever, You're interfering with an Fallen raid party in the cryptarch vault, that are about to escape. aka in 20 minutes these guys are gone. You can see that in the mission description where the counter runs down. There it says "enemy Target exfiltration" Edit2: Who genuinly thinks he will not be able to get the weapon, bc of the Timer and plays on PC, hit me up.
