Ban Threat
So I had to report another Guardian today. I noticed the other player running around "teabagging" everyone that had been KO'd in this week's Iron Banner. The following was copied from my PSN messaging app.
Me: Reported
Me: Reported again
Him: Reported you as well ;D
Me: Well that seemso pretty childish...
Me: Seems*
Me: I bet you don't even know why I reported you..
Me: There is no room in this game for obscenities... and frankly it's kids like you that ruin it for everyone else... sad...
Him: I hope you enjoyed destiny. My gf works at bungie and your account will be temp band for abusing the report function. Unless it's not your first time. Best wishes
Me: Wow... so sad. You run around in game making obsean gestures and want to have me banned for reporting it... sad. Have a nice day.
Him: Hahahaha enjoy the upcoming ban son.

Now, I know that not everyone that reads this is not going to agree with my sentiment, and I don't expect everyone to. I just felt this particular person crossed a line. I reported the player for being "unfriendly" in the in game menu. There are several members of the Destiny community that are younger than myself and shouldn't be subjected to obscene gestures. Let's face it. If Destiny wanted you to be able to "teabag" downed foes, it would be an emote available from Eververse... I don't believe for a second that this guy's girlfriend works for Bungie. However, if I do get band.... oh well. I admit that I probably shouldn't have jumped on my high horse as fast as I did. I just hope that if any mods or delves that pay attention to this forum take note.

You deserve to be banned for reporting people unnecessarily. See my avatar? Bungie created it and made it available for these forums. Do you think the throat slashing emote is okay? You do realize that gesture has been banned in some professional sports, don't you? I really hope you get suspended for being a tool bag.

There are literally thousands upon thousands of make believe video game characters who have tasted my sweat. I will keep doing it because it's funny. In fact when I run with my friends in crucible that's what we do best. It is the only time there is any real teamwork between us lol. It's a game and it's funny grow up or gtfo

4 commentairesI report people all the time. I just throw those reports out left and right. If someone is red bar I report them for bad connection. Even on my team. If someone destroys me all game long, I report them for being highly skilled. If I go 3.0 and someone on my team goes 0.5 I report them for being unhelpful. Same goes for people camping and never capping in Control/Salvage. If someone sends me "gg" after the game, I report them for being friendly. If my teams wins or not, I will report the top player on my team for being heplful. It's a habbit now and I am not ashamed of it one bit.

3 commentairesCrouching is in the game. The fact that you want players to be punished for repeatedly crouching over your dead character is hilarious to me. The fact that you took the time out of your day to report him and then tell him you did so is also hilarious. This is like the ideal outcome when I teabag someone. Some sad soul coming to the forums to express his extreme discontent that in 2016 you are still able to crouch in FPS games. The horror.

That's a very stupid reason to report someone, damn! Nevertheless, I wouldn't worry about a ban. Probably a basement dwelling 15 year-old that tries to scare everyone. Enjoy the game and stop reporting people for nothing and only if they cheat or lag.

Don't give in to the tea baggers.. They do it to piss people off and throw them out of sync.. Making you step out of your comfort zone to play poorly. I was in a match where this 1 dude had a +5 KD on the enemy team. He still lost the match but he decided since he was losing he was gunna teabag... Next game.. My team kept killing him and every time he died, we teabagged him. He went .34 wit 12 kills and 0 captures. Some people are not as good at trolling as they think they are.
