Thats what I was using. Also, Quasars are jets of radiation, so if they can survive that they can survive the radiation from a nuke.
*the shields keep most of the radiation from penetrating the hull, and only an extremely low amount of radiation comes in, barely enough for a single case. They fire another wave of their nukes, hydrogen warheads, black hole missiles, and wormhole charges at the enemy fleet, destroying most of the ships and many hitting the Poseidon as well. The Tetran destroyer fires another blast from its main cannon at the Poseidon, it's turrets raining down energy blasts on the rest of the enemy fleet
Without your shields, it is doubtful you could survive much of that.
The black hole missiles have given the Poseidon time to recharge, another wave of Focus Beams targeting, slicing through, and detonating the new salvo of Black Hole missiles which disrupt the flight pattern of the rest. The stragglers cleaned up, the fleet begins aiming for the Tetran as a whole, bombarding it with Macro Accelerators and Mass Accelerating Repeaters.

Modifié par SilverPulse620 : 4/13/2016 4:27:02 PM*the ship's shields reflect most of the damage back at the enemy ships, taking very little damage from the fleet and the other cruisers take advantage of their distraction to open fire on the enemy fleet with their cannons, wormhole bombs, and nuclear weapons, cutting their way towards the capital ship. The Tetran destroyer fires its main cannon at the capital ship and its regular cannons at the rest of the fleet. Another fleet jumps in with another Tetran cruiser and do the same
There is a reason the Tetrans are feared by the rest of the Alliance. Going against them is a death sentence.
-
The Heavy Frigate's hulls absorb the damage, the Dust Lance slowing their advancements as the rear fleet continues heavy fire onto the Tetran, the Poseidon transferring engine power to shields in order to hold its ground as the Heracles guns down the Wormhole Missiles.
-
Modifié par SilverPulse620 : 4/13/2016 4:47:27 PM*the wormhole missiles are unaffected and reemerge right next to their targets and start to rip them apart. The Tetran destroyer maneuvers out of the way of the rear fleet and the two destroyers fire at the capital ship, the cruisers and cloaked Vodican cruisers firing at the Dust Lance from multiple directions, taking out is shields and blasting holes through its hull and weapons' systems
-
The massive Poseidon's thick hull remains strong. The fleet repositions itself to avoid the wormholes, a few of the Corvettes and even a couple Aries Carriers being caught in the holes. The fleet begins forming up, the Poseidon at the front and the Heracles forming a delta, the formation tight knit and without a single hole as the smaller ships form behind it. The Poseidon diverts power a full three ways between shields, Lance, and engines, the formation advancing upon the Alliance as they commit to their defenses.
-
I'm going to make a post where the Alliance sends a few people to get Quickblast out. Want to provide the People as the enemies for it?
*the ships form a blockade around the enemy ships, blocking off all chance of escape and raining fire on them from all directions, blasting through much of the enemy fleet and once again allowing the Tertans to make their way towards the Poseidon
-
Depends on if I catch him or not.
The Heracles arch out from the delta, forming a ring around the ships and taking the fire from the blockade. The Poseidon, now by itself, begins to put more pressure on the engines and shields, easing up on the Lance as it charges the Tetran at alarming speeds, its flight pattern just skewed enough to be able to dampen the energy blasts with its angle.
Btw, the Poseidon-Class Dreadnaught splits its energy three ways— Energy, shields/Focus Beams, and the Dust Lance.
-
I'm thinking you capture him just before they get there and he is being taken to the Poseidon or another important vessel just after this event.
*the Tetrans ship, surprisingly because of its size, avoids crashing with the Poseidon and fires the weapon on its side at it, firing a blast of pure radiation at the enemy ship that goes through the shields and damages the systems and crew of the Poseidon
This is why I insist that Quickblast is taken after this event.
-
Did you really think using my own truck against me? If I've thought of the trick, I've prepared for it, too.
The ship's shields and hull absorb the radiation with almost zero effort. The Poseidon adjusts its flight pattern with the Tetran, deliberately sliding its hull across the side as they exchange paint... --------------------------------------- Aboard the USS King's Mercy The Shipmaster, a Chieftain by the name of Tel'chi, stood before a set of holographic screens, each one displaying the visage of a Higher Psionic. "The ground soldiers are ready, my Chieftain, and the ship is within range." "Good. Perform your duties, open a node onto the bridge. The Raiders will have blood!" The Poseidon begins to polarize its shields, its own energy magnetizing to the Tetran's. --------------------------------------- Aboard the Enemy Tetran In an isolated corner of the Tetran bridge, a neon violet light begins to glow, throbbing and pulsating as it expands.
-
It doesn't have a bridge. Besides, going on board a Tetran vessel is a really bad idea since they live in an environment that is toxic to all but them. It's one of the reasons why they are so feared: you can't go in their ships without dying.
*as the People try to attack the ship, the other Tetran destroyer fires at the Poseidon's other side, blasting away much of the shields and hull with every hit. Meanwhile, on board the other Tetran destroyer, the light barely illuminates the darkness, showing strange green crystals all around the area
If you are trying to blow up the ship from the inside, that is a bad idea too. The explosion would blast it and the Poseidon to dust.
Modifié par Zone-tan : 4/13/2016 10:45:18 PMThe Poseidon begins leeching off of the Tetran ship, mixing the two shields together as it diverts its total energy supply to the shields, absorbing the Tetran shields into its own as a mix of green and blue pools across its hull, the Focus Beams charging for offensive. ---------------------------------- The Node opens full force inside the ship, a bright flash of violet light opening before a group of four Raiders, two Lesser Psi,, and a single Higher Psionic. Modifié par SilverPulse620 : 4/13/2016 10:57:06 PM
Well, the power is going to blow their core apart. Tetlight do earn mix well with any other substances, especially other energies. And yes, I came up with this long before the fight.
*they are unable to see or detect anything except the wall they are right next to and a single crystal. They hear a clicking noise from all around them. The Tetran destroyer veers away from the Poseidon ship, the mixing of the Tetlight and regular energy causing the core of the Poseidon to fail and collapse in on itself. The other destroyer fire upon the now isolated Poseidon
Time to work some horror magic. If you want to make a deal with them, they might be willing to negotiate. If not...nothing good for you.
The Prime Core realigns itself to allow for the unfamiliar power source for a short time, the Poseidon's hull releasing the supercharged beams of Arcline and Tetlight, six pillars of sinister blue-green light erupting from each side of the ship as it razes whatever they can reach to scrap. ------------------------------------ The High Psionic gives a chuckle, speaking in Afrikaans with glee. Modifié par SilverPulse620 : 4/14/2016 4:38:21 PM
In other words, bull shit your way out. Also, Nova has come. You may want to deal with her.
*they see that it is filled with corpses of thousands of different races, and the Raiders behind them have been attacked and nearly entirely to shreds by a strange group of robotic looking creatures that turns to the rest of them and steps back into the shadows. Another group emerges from the shadows and rips the antlers off the Psion and shoves them into its head, then a large group of them starts to rip apart the rest of the Psion and its party. The fleet starts to maneuver away from the enemy fleet as Nova's fleet begins its attack, including the Tetran destroyers
This is one reason why no one goes on their ship. Let's continue this fight where my team can go on board and have a more interesting fight.
-
Excuse me? Bullshit? And exactly how large are the Tetrans? Because you don't just "rip the head" off a Raider. Or a Psionic.
-
Modifié par SilverPulse620 : 4/13/2016 11:32:21 PM
Its to counter your bullshit of merging with Tetlight. Now we are even. And, those weren't Tetrans. Tetrans are much worse. This is to bring you back down to Earth, where the rest of us are so we can have an interesting fight.
-
If it really bothered you that much, why don't you just tell me straight out next time? I could just isolate and repel instead of utilizing the Tetlight. They'd just be normal Focus Beans.
-
Just play with Nova now until I make the next post where the team fights your Psion guy, okay?
-
I'd prefer the Raiders not get instakilled, but fine.
-
Dust Lance would've at least slowed the missiles in the tailwind.
-
They use wormhole tech to get to their target, therefore the Dust Lance's weapon is useless against them.
-
I had a feeling you might do that.
-
After all, they are called Wormhole missiles. It would make sense for them to travel via wormholes.
