Would that work?
It would be so fun (in my mind) to be able to have a Raid team worth of people playing together, to defeat a very strong boss, just give said boss a ton of health, and no requirements to damage him, (not like Warpriest where everyone has to coordinate to kill him) Just make like Valus Talaurc (I probably spelled his name wrong) but with a TON of health.
Plus, if it was matchmaking it would be pretty cool, just being able to have having the player max higher on strikes, so you could get more of your friends doing things together.
Same for Patrol, It would be great to have the ability to take a raid team's worth of people to patrol Venus or whatever, in my mind this would make Destiny's social experience of experience-able...
What do you guys think? Would this work?

EDIT: So judging from all the comments, this may work, but from what I understand, the enemies would have to be few in number to support the game and whatnot; along with more challenging enemies but not "bullet sponges" make the characters you have to fight, say, have a wee bit more health and specialized differently (Say like the Hive Knights the you fight in the court of Oryx keep them together to kill them like that. Add a unique of killing your foe) So basically add a new Challenge for fireteams of 6 but don't make it a mini raid or super buffed-up strikes, something in the middle or in it's own category entirely...

1 commentaireI'd say 4 man. Why? My buddy and I both like to game with our spouses. So, basically all we can do with the four of us is raid or PvP. Make all activities 4 person.
-
3 commentaires6 man strike? It's called a raid bud

1 commentaire4 would probably make more sense. Due to the fact that in the military, a fireteam is usually 4 to 6 people.
-
I'd like to see this but, bungie would have to upgrade the servers which will never happen
-
-
In Destiny 2 maybe. Since they just revamped the 3 person raid, I doubt they turn around and make patrols and such 6 man.
-
Nah strikes are easy as is. 6 would be a difficult strike which basically is the ttk raid
-
How about a patrol-like mission which is open world like patrol but instead of red bar enemies ultras and majors spawn and you can have a 6 person fireteam
-
2 commentairesStrikes would be too easy with 6 but I think patrols should have a max of 6.
-
1 commentaireHow about a non-scripted Oryx-sized boss that randomly erupts from the ground.
-
10 commentairesJust patrols. Not strikes.

4 commentaires6man strike... so Crota's End?
-
6 man Strike? So basically Crota's End remastered?
-
Modifié par Marcheziora : 3/30/2016 4:43:28 PMIsn't that called a Raid? But 6 Man Patrol would be dope!
-
i think not for strikes since the only reason raids are 6 man is because there are puzzles and the bosses are bullet sponges, but for patrol definitely especially since no one ever shows up for public events so you have to solo them all the time which in the case of some taken ones just isn't possible
-
It sounds fun, but come on. This is way too overpowered. Events will become jokes because too many people will be in them. Let alone, who the heck wants to play 6 man patrol compared to crucible or strikes? A six man strike would be better.
-
8 commentairesNot sure it would work either. Without a raid mechanic, things would get murdered. You guys know what happens when there is a Taken Champion in the area and like 5 Guardians. SUPER CITY!
-
Yes please. But unlikely
-
I've wanted this for a while man it's been talked about for some time

I would be open to trying such a thing. Patrol would have to basically have enemies moving against each other everywhere all the time, which with a six man group would be interesting. Strikes almost all yellows with fresh troops permanent and maybe some other modifiers. Challenging patrols and strikes would be a nice change of pace.
-
That would be too much work for bungie that would involve changing toouch to the game and they wouldn't be willing to do that
-
2 commentairesI can't remember the last time I've actually gone on a patrol with a fire team, I usually only go to take care of some bounties quickly
-
1 commentaireDefinantly patrols ! Strikes , they would have to adjust portions of adds and boss health to how many you acually have in your fire team , but that's a bump . Good thought bro
-
Patrols yea. Strikes maybe if it's matchmaking.
