So we have another "Special Event" during which Bungie hopes to make a bunch of real money off of Silver purchases, because they don't have time to actually create new game content of significance anymore. If you don't want to force them to actually do something meaningful, then by all means throw money at your TV screens once again; you all can make Luke (self-proclaimed Ass-Hat) Smith an even richer "genius" for taking more money from the kiddies without actually doing anything with the game!
Once again this event is PVP-based, but unlike the last event, you must form a fireteam to play this one since there is no matchmaking for this non-ranked, e.g., light levels are normalized, PVP "Special Event". We can't even play it one-versus-two if we preferred doing that to finding a "partner".
Bungie, you should be endeavoring to include as many players as possible in all activities instead of preventing people from being able to play them at all! Is your objective to see just how fast you can drive away players? If you turn on the lights and it is still dark Bungie, then try removing your head from your ass and perhaps you will see the light!
This is yet another FU to the solo players from Bungie; to whom I say back, FU too!
Edit for the Ninjas:
FU = Feel Undesired
Edit2 for the "SaltShakers"
I never said I was a solo player, but you of course don't really care about the facts or the topic of discussion...
Why anybody feels the need to criticize anybody else for asking about a feature that has no negative impact whatsoever on those that do not use it, but that is of benefit to some subset of players, is beyond comprehension. So, because you don't need it, those that might are somehow the problem to you even though it being provided would have absolutely zero effect on you?
Only a self-centered ignoramus would deprive others of a benefit that has no effect on them whatsoever if provided. To be insulting to those that do need it, or to those that have empathy for those that do, is even worse. If this is how the majority of young people view the world today, then the future is dim for more than just Destiny I'm afraid...
Edit for the azzholes:
I knew I would see you here! :)
3 commentairesGet over it, i only play Destiny when Iron Banner comes around which because it is the only fun part that actually supports match making. Most of my time i simply play other games that are more fun for solo players or that actually do support some decent match making. To put it simple: Destiny either doesn't love us (during Valentine of all times) or they can't handle match making which would be my guess seeing they already have lots of trouble handling regular match making in the Crucible. Just buy another game and have fun, stop wasting time on this one.

Modifié par GreenScreener : 2/10/2016 8:42:15 PMRemember Cosmo's comment on IB Rift the other week where he said they don't need to boost player numbers??? I think they seriously think nothing is wrong with their game and don't need to try and encourage players to stick around. We will just because Luke Smith is a great guy and the RNG is simply a joy to watch what it gives us. Bungie have completely lost sight of how to make a game fun...

1 commentaireThis game is over 90% cooperative being that the only things in the game that you can't have a fireteam for are the first mission, rumble PvP, and the quest when you get your third subclass. However a very cooperative game like this seems to have a lot of antisocial players. Forget the alternatives. If you really have no console friends and can't bear to go on lfg for a fireteam, quit the game instead of complaining. That's it.

2 commentairesI was having fun last night in the Free Lance 6v6. So they do think about "single" players.

Modifié par The Man Of Steal : 2/10/2016 7:49:47 PMI agree with this. Bungie needs to allow those of us that enjoy solo play to participate in all aspects of the game. Nothing wrong with being community oriented. But some of us really hate pub stomping, it's more boring than PVE. It doesn't enhance our skill, and a lot of the time it makes us form bad habits that hurt us when we play a more serious match. I only play PVP and 90-95% of it is Solo because I enjoy the challenge. I don't need Bungie to give us game modes where only solo players can queue... I don't mind playing against full fire teams by myself. The harder the challenge the more prepared I become for the next intense battle. It is discouraging to see Bungie continue to go in this incorrect direction. Sadly all we can do is make posts like this and hope one day Bungie wakes up before it's too late. Bump for the OP P.S. Many guardians have complained about SBMM because "we don't want to sweat 24/7"... However, if they allowed solo players to queue into Trials and form random teams, it stands to reason that the matches would be significantly less sweaty... since the fireteams in Trials are so OP. If Solo players wish to commit suicide and go at a team of 3, why not let us! If the Matches are that much easier for the full teams, then so be it! This game has millions of players, the most competitive PVP modes should allow for a wide variety of gameplay and not be contingent on forming a fireteam. Other MMOs emphasize community based gameplay, but still allow for there to be Solo options if that is what the user wishes. We'd like a user friendly game Bungie... Don't think it's asking too much.

5 commentairesEven as a solo-player I gotta say, what did you expect? Destiny was always marketed as a multiplayer game.

1 commentaireGet some friends, then.

9 commentairesThis game was meant to be a group experience. It wasn't meant to be something that is supposed to be played solo

3 commentairesBingie has made this game to not be a lone gaming experiance. That's why raids require your own teams and when people bitched they introduced Poe to cut it down on man power needed and introduced mm for the lowest level to help you find people in the low level to fight to the higher. In trials people conpained about getting 3 people together and even when you do you get destroyed so they added elimination. So you could practice and find other people in that game mode to team with to practice and bring into trials. Now people are complaining about getting stomped going solo in crucible in mm games so they added freelance so no one van be in a fireteam. And even more recently people are bitching about not being able to find one -blam!-ing person! Seriously all you have to do is just message people in-game! It's not level enabled so you can go in with anyone! Get it through your head this game isn't a lone player game. If you want to make it that way then you suffer for choosing to play a game it was meant to be.

1 commentaireModifié par xC4N4DI4NBE4VERx : 2/10/2016 5:26:47 PMProblem is they probably have not met some kind of income target in their contract with Activision, so they are probably in the works with the tyrants to figure out what daddy will let them spend at the toy store, hense the silence and the delays on anything substantial.

1 commentaireI'll just leave this here:
"We’re going to give you as many opportunities as we possibly can to expose you to other people, so that hopefully you’re drawn into some social experiences, because those are incredibly powerful and interesting, but we’re not going to force those on you. We describe it in a lot of ways as sloping the floor towards socialization, without putting a requirement on it." - Jason Jones, Bungie
1 commentaireI find it super entertaining to see no one reading the comments and everyone posting "you got Freelance" like it's some big deal and Fraktika (sorry if I misspelled) just posting the same response. Priceless

5 commentairesMMO creating a war on solo players. Huh.

1 commentaireThis isn't a single player game..... Why do I have to play with other people in this Mmo !!!!!!!!!
-
5 commentairesI'm not playing... PS Store has Battlefront for $30. It's actually pretty fun. I wasn't expecting it to be and wasn't planning on getting it, but for the price I thought that I'd give it a try. There are other games to play rather than wasting any more time on Destiny. I still play periodically until I find myself wondering what I should do and realize that the answer is that there's nothing to do. Stop playing and they will release more content. That's the way business operates.

Modifié par xbob lv : 2/10/2016 6:37:59 PMI would have liked to see a doubles team and a doubles solo. This way I can matchmake with randoms if I want to run solo. I will also be matched with other solo players. I want a better pvp setting system. 1) connection vs skill 2) region settings (local, region, country, world) 3) mic (connected or no mic)

Funny how everuthings a war, but when we are in a war we call it sonething else lol.

3 commentairesHow about this... The weekly crucible bounties which can be completed solo, bungie replaced them with the crimson doubles bounties which require a team. Luckily, I did them before the patch, but if I hadn't I'd be a little peeved. I mean seriously, they couldn't just have them both? C'mon bungie!
-
I would love to play with my friends. Too bad they all went out and bought Xbox Ones. I guess I will just settle for a 1-match-stand from the LFG posts...
-
As long as lfg and all the other sites to help people find partners, they have less incentive to worry about the solo player. Pretty shitty but makes sense.
-
2 commentairesNot only on solos, when poe and trials came out 6 man crews had to break up and now they are forcing it to be brought down to 2 people....
