Should they ban some weapons in trials?
They should ban some overpowered weapons in trails and have legendarys only. That's my opinion and that's what i think <3

It would be interesting if different weapon classes were banned each week.

At this point Exotic Hand Cannons have had way too much of an impact on competitive play, and it's not really fair to those who don't have one. Xbox is even worse off because right out the gate we don't have Hawkmoon, which means chances at getting an Exotic Hand Cannon are limited to The Last Word or Thorn bounty if you get it. (We've all been there, Exotic Bounties are random. Half the time you don't get the one you want when you finally get the Exotic Missive.) I think it's even more unfair when you consider Trials will never have Auto Rifles at their former peak, which is basically a slap in the face for those who have a SUROS Regime but can't be arsed to get Thorn Bounty done for whatever reason. It's not fair that the competition is decided by weapon loadouts moreso than actual skill. (Obviously in an environment where loadouts generally all co-align, it'll come down to skill and only skill.) I don't want them to ban items out of the Trials, though. I just want them to realize that they've now made PvP a truly competitive environment and using this system of "we want to give each weapon type their own era of greatness" basically screams "we don't actually want it to be competitive, just a place for the try hard community to boost their ego because [insert flavor of the month exotic name here] is op."

I think they should ban heavy and supers just raw gun fights no hiding behind a self Rez nova bomb arc blade Titan smash or golden gun

11 commentairesNo. Trials is level and gear based. It's iron banner to the hardest degree. I don't think banning weps is the solution.

I feel it will cause a variety of weapons to be used. They still need to buff the auto rifles to be relevant. I think this would create a more enjoyable activity. I personally have had my throb from when it was 6 rounds and was still a beast. I love thorn however having three people use thorn just requires one shot from each player and your dead. I admittidly use it for trials when everyone is using it. I would love to just use the jewel or even tfwpky1969

2 commentairesI think weapon balancing should be tweaked. If this is done then there shouldn't be any motivation to ban certain weapons.

They should banned the hand cannons. I like them but there to op and constant in Pvp and trials. Plus some people won't to do trials but they can't there not good enough

They can have introduce a modifier like grounded for example which places 50% reduction on the weapon. Hand Cannon modifier with a line though it to show the reduction in damage. Even do two mods in every 5 round set of for the entire weekend run of Trails. Focus on the primaries. Have a mod for hand cannons and a boost mod for pulse or scouts. Something to mix up the usual three of thorn, hawkmoon, and tlw.
