I've seen this argument before, and no one ever addresses that Ward gives your teammates a buff. So, when you say that it's only 2/3 as good as Golden Gun, how many of that Gunslinger's teammates now have overshields or are dealing extra damage? None. Defender is a support class. Ward of Dawn is a support super. I think giving 6 players increased damage output is pretty offensive, so is giving 6 players shields before charging into combat. You know what else supports the team? Having an inanimate object waste the other team's super. Any team with three people standing in Ward of Dawn deserves to get wrecked by a Fist of Havoc.
