Thorn Users are Opposites of Scrubs
It's not easy to complete the Thorn bounty. Anyone who uses thorn deserves it and they should receive Zero hate for it.

6 commentairesIf you use the easiest gun to get kills with in the game, you might very well be a scrub. It doesnt matter how hard you think you worked for the gun, it doesnt make you any better. A skilled hand cannon user would take a Red Hand IX or a Venation III (or maybe The Chance or Fatebringer). They have The Last Word on backup in case things get too crazy. A lazy tryhard would take thorn for the fast-shooting 3 body shot kill. If everyone on crucible had your logic, the game would drown in thorn users, since nearly everybody has thorn, and the game would really suck. Im not saying dont use it. By all means, play like you just got the game and are desperate for kills. What im saying is; dont complain when the piece of shit gets nerfed. Its bound to happen.

The problem with thorn is that it's impossible to tell if the user is a scrub or not because it's so easy to do well with. Playing with thorn is like bowling with siderails or dunking on a six foot rim. It's an incredibly low skill gap weapon that attracts poor players desperate to be competitive and expert players that care more about destroying than challenging themselves.

Do I have thorn? Yes. Do I use thorn in crucible? Yes. Is it a really good gun? Yes. So then why shouldn't I use it if it's really good? Call me a scrub all you like, but if it's put in the game it's meant to be used.

I'm honestly surprised I don't see all the posts where people cry about Gjallarhorn I'm Crucible. Quick question. Have any of cry babies thought for a moment that the person using the Thorn might not have a decent primary weapon to use in Crucible? No? Didn't think so. So many forum users just spew this shit and cry about getting owned by a decent weapon. I avidly use the Thorn. 9/10 times I'll kill you before the poison kicks in. The rare chance it does kill you its most likely cuz I got killed before I could get the last shot in. I love the way it feels. The sight is amazing in my opinion which is a big thing for some people. I ADS all the time unless I'm being bum rushed.

1 commentairei would think the pocket infinity bounty is hard grinding out the 10 rare fusion rifle but i did solo the thorn bounty and i dont even use it, just added it to my collection :D

Also, I think the people complaining that Thorn users are scrubs are just mad because they themselves are too scrubby to figure out how to just deal with it. I fight Thorn fairly often in the Crucible, but I kills me no more often than any other gun. [spoiler]I don't use Thorn, just so we're clear here.[/spoiler]

The thorn bounty is easy if you are leveled up but try doing it as level 20's and I think it's a very hard bounty to do

Anyone should be able to get the thorn. It's quite easy to do the bounty. A couple hours is no big deal

23 commentairesIf anyone thinks that using a powerful weapon makes someone a scrub, that's pretty sad, because it tells me that people can't deal with others who can kill people easily. Tell me why you think it's for scrubs? Is it OP? Then use something else. It makes a player a scrub? Tell me why.

Bump! The pvp part sucked because I blow at the crucible but now I'm using it its gradually improving my k/d ratio. Was previously on about 0.8. Last 5 games or so I was getting average 1.5, I even managed a 2.7 in one game.

The way ppl use its pretty scruby shoot twice in the head then run away really? Or when ur trying to outgun him he shoots u once go in to cover and repeat the process over again

7 commentairesI did it and sharded it.... You think 10k points with void is hard? I need whatever weapon is 25:1 KD/R. I THINK it's invective. Whatever the case, it's up there with The Fermi Solution in terms of rarity.
