Hi
I see Bungie is releasing new game Marathon soon and now we have adds in D2 tyo preorder. Why should I pre order marathon If I already know that you Bungie cant handle it.
Every crucible/comp mode in D2 is filled up with cheaters and you do nothing about it and yopu try to sell pvp game while you can t proterct dedicated players in your existing game.
Where is the logic behind it???

1 ReplyNever pre order any game wait until full gameplay is out and player reviews are up. Look at cyberpunk, veilguard and anthem as examples of why pre ordering is a bad idea.

Why give them money early make them beg for your money

You shouldn't. Just don't. /thread.

Destiny’s PvP has been low priority for years. Marathon is built around PvP, so there’s potential for a much better PvP experience there. There’s going to be an “open preview weekend” where I assume players can try before they buy. IMO, any Destiny players still invested in Crucible should at least give the demo a shot. And then… wait for reviews and reactions after launch - definitely no need to preorder.

Edited by TonnoSenpai: 1/24/2026 10:01:36 AMwhy lie about every crucible mode being filled with cheaters? not truee. But yeah marathon should be not on the pre-order list from in game page, after all bungie is searching for a differente playerbase, a one that doesn't cry random

Their recent track record has certainly put me off playing… don’t think I would even if it was free!
