@Bungie... here's what I understand, maintain your convictions per Tier upgrading.

If you have all these different components... but logistically you lack the resources to produce all components simultaneously, changing or editing... omitting certain pieces before it comes together is ill-advised, imo. I have no problem getting Tier 5s, but I put in a huge number of hours to get there. Don't gatekeep this progression. It shouldn't be either or, it should be both. It's not just about getting T5s, it's about getting the right T5s. It's about allowing players to find their way to the top of the mountain at their own pace. I DON'T think the philosophy should be casual players NEVER get the best loot. Less of it, it will take longer, they'll need to be more selective and focused in their pursuits.... IF that exists, that's fair. Depending on whether or not, the system benefits T5 gear... it will still help me. By removing a layer and improving player odds... because now any T4 or T5 armor or weapon that has your roll/split will qualify. For weeks, if not months these same content creators have said the armor grind is ridiculous... *ahem* Clyde has made multiple vids. I think he made a vid about the Tharsis weapon grind too. And it was rough. If you're a min-maxxer or content creator this makes the game better. If you're a casual player this makes the game better. If you're a fake parsing gatekeeper... Kick rocks. These same people saying the loot is too good have been complaining simultaneously that it isn't good enough. Not good enough for them, too much bulwark for them... not enough shinys for them, the dungeon armor and swordmaster splits that are dropping aren't good enough for them.... But for everyone NOT THEM? The loot is TOO GOOD! Stay the course. Blue doesn't like waffling 😉. @Bungie, don't let the community bully you 😇👍💠. Edit: I want to add some emphasis... one of the ideas I was thinking of suggesting was voluntary Tiered lockouts for drops like other games. Where there's a setting that basically hides, auto-dismantles loot that is essentially junk. Based on that, but in D2 would serve high tier drop probabilities. No, it wouldn't replace my Tier 4s w T5s... but I could say I don't want any Tier 4s... The benefit would be I'm not losing the shiny procs to T4s I don't want. I'm not getting the split I want on my boots as a Tier 4... because I know when that split DOES DROP it will be a Tier 5. But I won't need that with Tier upgrading. It solves that. Now, I just watch my T4 drops.
