Not even gonna attempt trials of Osiris
Yeah half of you will say I suck at crucible so whatever but that's only when that crap lags EVERY OTHER GAME. I'll be all fine one game getting an average 1.5 kd then I play the next with massive amounts of lag and watching one green bar wreck on my team from across the map shooting the wrong way. Now I can already imagine how much of a shit fest trials will be with the lag. So I'm not even gonna try. Idk if there are legit lag switchers or whatever but I'm getting sick and tired of using all of my heavy and a super to kill 20 lag ghosts. Anyone else having this problem or is my internet crap (150 mbps)
Edit: when I said getting a average 1.5 kd i meant that as that's what I usually get when I don't put up with bs lag. I know my overall is lower
Edit: he crucible is already bad enough but I'm sure you guys have to experience the Sam lag fest once iron banner rolls around. That's ridiculous lag. I'm also not complaining about the weapons other than auto rifles needing a buff.
Edit: to people saying get a fireteam. I have plenty of friends that play destiny but non want to deal with the bs that you deal with in crucible
Edit: rng must want me to play cause I just got 4 passage coins in the last 10 games....

You do realize they've specifically added in new matchmaking to trials to match similar connection between players rather than rank or skill base. Meaning, next to no lag. I'm not saying all the games will be lag free, but the vast majority should be. Stop complaining.

All I can see this game mode being: *BANG BANG BANG BANG* at the start of every game, my two teammates getting to final round in their Efrideet's Spear. Green bullets flying everywhere from Thorn. *Looking at the flag sequence before the game* everyone but me is a hunter.

1 Replyil be honest im not looking forward to it based on the state of crucible at the moment, I played one game his morning and then turned off the console, everybody was lagging, shot half a clip of jolders into a guys head, I get killed by him, then i get the kill 5 seconds after. There are ways around this, i should of shot him and left the area, got the kill late, and I would have not given him the oppertunity to kill as a zombie(hes already dead but still standing and able to shoot) but why should I play like that, I don't want to play against lag, but unfortunately this is a tactic needed, shot and run....because the latency is so bad the other guy can still kill you even though you have managed to fire the required amount of damage to kill him.... Bungie have said osirus will be different, they will match teams up based on connection...lets hope so also there is a work going on in the background im guessing in preparation for dlc release, so servers maybe under some strain. the get gud excuse for poor connection are starting to wear thin.......this game has a problem....no point denying it

I find I only get lag issues when playing the 6v6. 3v3 like skirmish is fine so I can imagine Trials will be fine.

6 RepliesDeej said that the was trials of Osiris is made is for the fireteam to find the best match based on their connection. So I'm guessing that the lag may not be the issue but the noobs with the thorn and the last word will.

Hopefully dej wasn't lying when he said "trials will prioritize connection" please for the love of randal the vandal let it be! Also, you can get a 3 win package from 1 win if you buy a free win buff and the first win counts as two. This will make your first win count as three giving you a tier one package. So you only need to win 1 out of three matches, with the forgiveness buff, this is increased to 1 of 4.

Im not going to try a anytime soon as well. I played couple of hours in crucible yesterday. And it is awful. I only saw Thorn, Last word, hawkmoon and fellwinters lie. Literaly everyone uses these weapons, there is no variety. I get killed at medium distance by a Thorn, and im using my thunderlord. Didnt even had a chance to shoot. And this was multiple times. Also with the recent heavy ammo changes, everyone uses rocket launchers. It has become worse after the latest ammo and auto rifle nerfs.

I only have 1 friend willing to play it, he's pretty good at skirmish. I'm not. I'm much better at patterned crucible where movement and player positions are predictable like in control.

5 RepliesWhy wouldn't you try it? You still have a chance at armor/weapon drops as end match rewards even if you lose... There is no penalty, etc. Unless you have the Thorn bounty going why not give it a shot?
