new connection error codes
As with the pre dark below patch, the new patch has brought me a whole new group of animal friends to share in my frustration in that joyful rng game that is maintaining a stable server connection.
Bee, rabbit, and sheep are my new pals. They have joined my old friends cattle, anteater, weasel, and whatever a cloudberry is, to keep me company when I can't play the game.
I'm on a ps3, have comcast service running through a technicolor wireless router/modem combo, and when I test my internet connection my average download speed is above 12 mb/s, and my average upload speed is above 4 mb/s.
This is the same setup that allowed me to play the game for the first 3 months after it's midnight release nearly drop free.
I'm not expecting a reply or suggestion from bungie (since I haven't gotten one in response to my many many other posts after the dark below patch went live), and since my modem / router works perfectly and all other games and devices in my home have no issues, I guess I'm just posting this for posterity, so if on the off chance in the future I get a hold of a rep, I can direct then to this as proof of my problems.
Also, the drops come 98 percent of the time when I do anything but crucible. Crucible seems to run much better than any other aspect of the game. Sometimes I get an hour straight of crucible with no problems, and then 2 minutes into a strike I'm booted back to orbit. And, most of the time I'm dropped, the game says I still have a "good" game connection. Meh.
