Xur Extension?
Very simple really. We've all lost time with Xur due to the Lizard -blam!-ers. So do you think Xurs time in the Tower will be extended?

Edit: Now down since Friday and only on for a short time today. Surely that warrants an extension.

To be honest if this is anything like what happened in Christmas 2011, it might be a long months extension, this shit could be going on for weeks yet. The problem is that a lot of hackers hate Sony and all jump in to take them down.

Most people who voted no would say "that's how it works" will also cry foul and flip their shit when xur sells the same stuff 2 weeks in a row... In the end, I think bungie will try and accommodate everyone the best they can. Plus, why would you care if xur stuck around for a few extra days, is it somehow taking away from your destiny experience?

3 RepliesI voted "no" because as of yet there's still time that they could fix it and people can jump on tommorow (saturday) and grab thr itrms they desire BUT if it runs into a decent percentage of tommorow (mid-day PST, which is bungie time) for either console, I believe they should extend it for those who are unfortunate enough to not connect.

In the case that they can't fix the servers or they can't extend him they should have him sell what he sold this week again next week but also sell the next set of items too so basically doubling his inventory next week. Not a perfect solution but if they need time to implement it that could be an option

Just what percentage of the fan base on either platform must be affected to cause them to extend Xur's stay? How often must they do so? For those who had access to Xur the whole time what kind of advantage does it grant? Do they do the same if an ISP like Comcast has issues affecting a large population? What about a small one? What about people denied the chance to do the daily heroic? Should they get free ascendant materials to stay competitive with those who could? What about the day's selection of bounties they couldn't go for? In my opinion they need to stand firm with Xur's duration of presence, come what may. It sucks for some players but that's the way it goes. People will always be affected by connectivity issues with a game like this whether it's due to issues on Bungie's side or not. Just wait until next week. Welcome to the modern era of online - only gaming.

A lot of Xbox users find this is unfair. I myself am a PS4 user, so I hope he gets extended but if it were the other way around I'd want it extended to our brother guardians over on the Xbox side.
