**UPDATE**"THEORY" 6th and 7th chest discussion.
We are attempting to figure out how to make the 6th and 7th chest spawn so far we have tried clearing the entrance without a pretorian entering a sync plate but nothing happened we will be retrying on hard mode tonight to confirm.
(5th chest confirmed can get in normal or hard mode by preventing the templar from teleporting)
7th chest has speculation on how to get it whether it is clear the gorgon maze without being seen on hard mode or speed runs etc.
We will be attempting all of these tonight on hard mode to test these theories. Any ideas and theories from players would be helpful we want to find these and show everyone else how to as well.
Everyone mocked us and called us liars when we said we said there was a 5th chest and BAM! confirmed!

5 RepliesThe chests should spawn in both difficulties, I don't see why they'd remove them from normal. Also think about the spirit bloom chest.. It contains really nothing worth grabbing. Could it be a decoy? Opening this chest may cause other chests to de-spawn? Spirit bloom chest is a trap! Don't grab it. I like the different theories though. If you ever need another treasure hunter to help out just send me a message. I'm on PS4

5 RepliesThere is a connection with the teleporting stat though and the being seen stat in the Gorgon's maze we just need to test these theories to find out what. One guy posted after keeping the templar from teleporting you can't be seen by the Gorgon's once and you don't have to kill one and he said it started up a 3rd puzzle jump that they couldn't figure out how to get up. Also destiny has yet to say that the ending of atheon where there is no time ticking down to take you back to orbit is an actual bug so I'm thinking it's because of a requirement that unlocks a chest. There are 3 spots in vog where the bosses have unusual stats regarding the battle (templar teleports. Gorgon seeing you. And the one for atheon. So in theory there should be chests at each of these or from doing a specific task in each of these three boss fights.) There are many theories about these chests and we will find out the right way of doing it.we have already found 4 other places to go in VoG and the 5th chest that no one believed us about so I have confidence that we will find more.

Me and my team last night couldn't get it we didn't grab the 5th chest and made it through the maze Hardmode and still no spawn on 6th chest.

Super, super interesting stuff here. I really didn't believe the jumping part is all that it was. There is way too much open area not being used. That vex gate perplexed me being out there in no man's land. And you can skip doing the puzzle just by using your characters jumping abilities so the theory that a second puzzle or something else over there exists seems very plausible.

4 RepliesIts possible it may have to be a perfect run......because we did the maze without detection after getting the chest after the Templar (no teleport). Its possible it many aspects need to be met: * No one Dies * Perfect Spire * No Templar Teleport * Not Being Seen in Maze

There are 3 broken sync plates and one we know spawns a chest in theory so should the other two. If anyone knows bungie from past years they don't put things in their games for no reason, and unlike most game companies very hush hush about their easter eggs. They still haven't even confirmed the skull you unlock in halo for jumping through those rings.

some parts of the VOG Raid like the maze and the puzzle jump seem almost pointless you blow through them so fast we have to be missing something.

I have a feeling their is an additional chest for a flawless completion but just speculation. I want to believe there is an additional chest cause it keeps me wanting to run the raid without dying lol. We've looked up and down in the jumping maze. There is a lot of real estate that I didn't realize was there and a lot or hiding spots for chest.

10 RepliesWe have ran the gorgons on hard without being seen and it does not spawn... I honestly feel like its a speed run. 60 sec to get there before the rock falls.

I have had friends confirm it despawned on them right in front of their eyes. I am wondering if these other chests could be on timers as well.
