So i was thinking for people playing with friends you could have a laser guided rocket that one person fired into the air that then flew up and then hit the target that is being lased by your buddy.
As Arveanor suggested your buddy would have to hold the laser on target until the missile hits.

2 RepliesSo, if the laser pointer is let go of, the missile would automatically explode causing AoE damage?

1 ReplySo if one player gets a high powered launcher, my idea is that they would have a very limited stock of ammo. Like two shots. And it is unguided unless the target is marked by a companion. To mark by a companion the wielder would give a player a designator, who would, in turn, decide to accept or deny it. If accepted, they would mark targets and the wielder would manually fire, which the missile would then seek the enemy. And the reload should take a little bit of time as well.

3 RepliesWe'd have to see if there's armor and what not first before we decide anything like rockets.

24 RepliesAnybody here go from playing bfbc 2 to playing battlefield 3? Just saying, -blam!- guided missile systems.

4 RepliesI could see this working when you are in a situation and need to take out a heavily armored vehicle so you send out for temporary assistance and get missile and a later guider but don't have a lot of ammo so it isn't overpowered.
