Please don't forget a catalyst for a pre-existing weapon this time.
Every season gave a catalyst for at least 1 pre-existing exotic. Unfortunately, even though seasons were supposed to be 3-4 months long, no catalysts were released even for delays that lasted months or even for "mid seasonal content" intended to hold us over like the delay with Shadow keep, the 30th anniversary leading into Witch Queen (I'm not going to count Gjallarhorn since it wasn't already in D2), or Into The Light. Then came episodes which lasted about a month longer, and Heresy lasted a month longer than that, ROTN in act 3 alone was ten weeks.
Edge of Fate didn't release a catalyst for a pre-existing exotic, neither did Ash and Iron (which going back to the Plaguelands would've been perfect for a Khovostov catalyst), so this will make roughly 10 months, or roughly 3 seasons worth of time without such. More if Renegades fails to drop one.
If you're only going to release catalysts for new weapons now, would it really kill you to finally tell your players "no more catalysts for older weapons" instead of letting them get their hopes up that one will finally drop for a weapon they like/ want to use? Going to another lawless frontier and the main antagonist being a Dredgen at that, not that you've ever cared about thematically fitting catalyst drops where applicable (Season of The Lost and Season of The Wish were perfect for Wish Ender), but now would be perfect for a Last Word catalyst. The only times better would be if we either meet Shin Malphur or if Dredgen Yor is ever revived.
