This game used to be a great pastime. I spent so much time getting good gear so that I could enjoy more activities, but it seems that ever update makes everything I liked about the game worse, to a point where I install the game to try to find any spark of joy in the game, which I have probably done 10 times, just to find out: All of my characters are at base light, all the armor that I spent so much time perfecting, and most of the guns that I used to enjoy have been nerfed to a point they are basically unusable. So if I want to enjoy the game again, I will have to spend another month grinding. I understand that most of what I am complaining about is just an issue with live service games, but at this point, it feels like Bungie is testing how much they can wring out of people. Bungie clearly has no idea what they're doing anymore. I really wish that this game could have done better, and clearly, people still enjoy this game! But in order to enjoy this game, you have to play this game every single day for the rest of your life. And again, this is just a problem of live service games, but not many live service games are THIS bad. Reading back through this, I am just complaining for no reason, because I am not gonna get anything out of it, but I know many people in the community feel the same. But I just wish that I had chosen basically any other game to spend my time and money on years ago. It's my fault for trusting Bungie, but I still want my money back.
