With d2 it's more like no one else wants to serve steak. So if you want to eat steak, this is it.

Fair enough seeing it’s a completely unique game. All games are flawed and D2 is as well. With that said, the reason people play it 7 years later is because even with its flaws, it’s a really good game. How many 7 year old games have 400-500k people logging in to play daily?

The gameplay feels really good. I've stuck around this long because their balance of guns and magic makes me happy when I erase a dreg from existence. The game definitely has it's issues but even with those issues, it's impressive that the worst season launch (numbers wise) still clears top 10 on steam. Despite the steak being burnt, it's still a steak.

I agree with everything you just stated my guy. The way I look it at it is I get countless hours of enjoyment for $100 a year.
