Are half the new guns timegated again?
Title. Out of the current seasons list, i only have interest in like 3 weapons. The scout- refuses to drop, presuming timegated drop as usual. The sniper, already got a roll im keeping, and chroma rush is neat but ill never use it since kinetic.

Yes. 6 weapons have been dropping. - Liturgy GL - Exuviae HC - Vantage Point PR - Insurmountable SA - Sovereignty SNR - Bitter/Sweet GL Another easy check is to look at the levels of the season pass. Only these 6 weapons are available. This would also make sense seeing as last season we got 6-2-2 in the acts. We have access to all the Act 1 content and Act 2 is in 6 weeks. Likely the TWAB was wrong or Bungie altered the drop list in the last few weeks to mimic Echoes. I wouldn’t worry about it too much for now tho :)
