TFS is really NOT FUN
I hope Sony is monitoring the feedback on this site as well as other outlets.
Time for some change in Game Direction. (Ya I know the Bungie Team Lead resigned)
This expansion is only marginally better than Lightfall. Marginally.
TFS is way too mechanic centric. The power fantasy has been nerfed to the point where you cannot over level content.
The Raid? Most players can’t be bothered given the complexity.
The guns are nothing special except for The Call.
These episodes are no different than season except now we only get 3 instead of 4.
Pale Heart is a solo player patrol zone or if you do fly in with a fireteam the difficulty is increased making it more of a slog.
So glad I didn’t purchase the deluxe edition.
Not worth what they were asking.

2 RepliesIve been with destiny since the start. ive stuck with it because the combat always felt snappy and overall better than other shooters.but tbh im starting to get fed up,the new content had been tedious especially alone in the dark.the pale heart being solo is boring after awhile,the events take forever especially in impass,atleast mayhem finaly came around this week,as a solo player (i struggle with social anxiety & going on mic is hard) its frustrating that alot of new wepons are locked off, the new areas are lovly though....

the grind boring repetitive missions ,ad density and pathfinder became the final grind for me. don't care about seasonal junk or playing much of any if destiny anymore it got to overturned and slog fest. but good job to bungie for at least getting the long term players a ending to years of playing the game. we need a bug gun weekend more then ever to bring the fun back.

TFS campaign was pretty good. But, it was mostly story and cut scenes and not more content to actually play. The story aspects were somewhat better than the past. The episodes however.. absolute trash. Seasons over a longer period with more drip fed garbage. Poorly rolled out season pass where the prestige grind is not calculated once you hit rank 100 until the next episode? Who thought that one up? I enjoyed it but feel that the game is stale and bungie tells us anything and we just believe it. I just can't do that anymore.

The worse changes they've been making are most apparent in Crucible. They've all but completely changed the original Destiny feel in the Crucible and turned it into something barely enjoyable when you combine the added SBMM, poor lobby balancing, invisible players, lackluster weapons to chase, ect. The special ammo changes are bad. The new maps are bad. And who in their right mind play tested the new Hunter Prismatic combos and said yes this is balanced. Blink, threadling spam, smoke bomb, invisibility, and grapple all in one loadout.

1 ReplyI done the NES003 thing today, then some Gunsmith bounties, then.. Nothing I jus have zero drive to do anything. I used to be able to jus roam planets or playlists for hours, but I kinda feel 'done' after the campaign. I should maybe jus roam TPH without doing Ghost missions. Jus go for a walk. I dunno. Things feel kinda flatter than ever 🤔

Given the amount of people who buy stuff they insist isn’t fun, I’m not sure how much Bungie needs to worry about such feedback. Sales and player engagement are what they’ll be more focussed on.

The -blam!- auto is running amok and Bungie just... do not give a -blam!-. Don't get me started on the firing squad bulldshit. More like The Final -blam!-.

There’s some things I like about TFS but overall it’s just ok in my opinion. My main gripe is almost every quest is basically just a horde mode with mechanics which just becomes tedious and annoying.

Personally I thought final shape was amazing, there definitely were some aspects of some levels that were annoying but it wasn't bad enough to ruin the entire story for me. Haven't tried the raid and probably won't lol, the episode is horrible, story and game play is dumb I really hope Bungie doesn't stick with this "episode" crap and if they do they better change it.

The story is good but the missions are a bore fest, raid mechanics everywhere i agree its like they almost made that for you to buy the 2nd and 3rd character skip from the store since after the first run you'll never be wanting to do that S#@...all over again, at least not alone

Sure, they may like some things about the game, but no one likes everything about the game, and that is how I know people are liars, and liars can not be trusted. They are a waste of anyone's time. Only true gamers will look at the whole picture when it comes to games, and they don't try to pass off nonsense as few people did already on your post no matter what game it is. They look at all aspects of any game weighing out the good with the bad, and for anyone to lie and say "the game is at its peak" is so full of it that either they are a Bungie minion or a troll.

2 RepliesThe main campaign was OK. Some of the maps are OK. The repetitive nature of the zones in the pale heart, already old. Nothing new to see once you been through them a few times. I am only playing because my friend was going to gift it to me so he would have someone to play with. Over all, NOT fun and engaging content. I mean really not keeping my interest. The act was boring, tedious and more forceing LGBTQ crap down our throats. No thank you! Bungie and SONY can keep this steaming pi9le of garbage. They wanted it harder and less fun, well they got it, and I hope it really shows in missing their revenue goals.

The Final Shape destroyed PvP forever. If you argue with that fact, then i'm guessing you're loving the ability spam and should probably just go play Overwatch.
