Bungie clearly either doesn’t have what it takes to produce this game anymore or the desire. Either way, Into The Light is more fluffier content - just like Lightfall and the entire Y6 annual pass. TFS will just be Lightfall 2 and the sad end to a fantastic franchise that got done dirty by a greedy developer.
Let’s all hope and prey Sony takes over Destiny so the franchise can start being produced by people that are passionate about the game.

I love that the Bungie simps are attempting to down vote the heck out of this, but the majority is keeping it going. 😂 Some people act so weird towards corporations they uphold as idles.

1 ReplyRead a few bits today & watched a video by bellular news, he's a dev with a lot of industry knowledge. His thinking is once final releases there's gonna be layoffs even if it does well. It's common knowledge management are leaving once marathon releases & they get the last Sony payout. This leaves bungie a graveyard, & marathon will no doubt be priority given destiny won't have had any content or any planned future content in 12-18 months. There simply won't be enough staff to do destiny & new hires would not have a clue how any of the spaghetti code works. It's gotta be the end soon, no other way to read this script.

Na, just Bungie...

1 ReplyWell not the end but will be very different. For me I will wait till a few days before FS release to see if it holds up . Then I’m out of destiny world . Been a blast .

Edited by Gulf of Mexico: 3/21/2024 11:26:01 AMI don’t know from the sound of it things are not going well with marathon. I don’t see them dropping it after the final shape.

1 ReplyThat's free content to get people ready before TFS. Everyone needs to calm down..
-
4 RepliesThere’s a lot riding on TFS. Not so much on the filler content between now and then. Let’s judge TFS when we actually see it.
-
1 ReplyThat’s exactly what it is, filler content. They told us that they wouldn’t be releasing anything big between now and TFS, why are people mad when they do what they say, as if they were expecting something else. It’s free content, which is better than no content.

It's a free event put together in a few months with a lot of stuff people have been asking for for a long time. I think it looks fine for what it is.

3 RepliesHow does one log in once in 10 months to play but watches D2 streams and still posts on the Bungie forums? Very balanced behavior there lol.

Edited by Golden: 3/20/2024 2:16:52 PMA free event meant to keep us busy before final shape means final shape will fail?
so the franchise can start being produced by people that are passionate about the game.
Who knows what the future holds?

More hope from Sony...sadly.

1 Replyhonestly i do think sony as the resources to fix this gigantic mess of a game, the only issue is that Sony should have stepped in 4 years ago, stepping in if and after final shape flops will do jack -blam!- cuz the damage is done and the game dies after the last episode
-
1 ReplyJust because they didn't show what you wanted doesn't mean that they don't have any passion for their game. Lol are you serious?
-
3 RepliesIn your head, if/when Sony takes over Destiny, what's the timeframe you envision the game will be available for play with all the fixes, changes and features you think it should have? A month, a day, maybe even a year?
-
Really this looks sooooo bad…

5 RepliesCheck today's ign article, the future of destiny is very leak, layoffs expected early 2026 after final Sony payments go through,Inc most management ,final shape has to fund marathon, then there's nothing.
