There's been a hidden evasion stat for years at least... barely noticeable to the point where I doubted its existence as a mechanic imbedded into our avatars.
This was because the effects garnered were seemingly insignificant in all but one case... that being the deprecated lightning reflexes... which may not have even been Evasion... it could have been invincibility frames.
The 2 examples where it was barely noticeable were the sparrows... the void one and "Always on Time".
That's the past... now the present. And the Manticore buff....
There can't be any doubt now, our avatars have a hidden evasion stat that impacts all enemy projectiles except tracking projectiles.
And that Evasion mechanic should scale and be activated via the Hunters' mobility stat as a replacement for resilience balanced on the metrics of received incoming dmg. The only benefits Hunters should get from resilience is flinch resistance.
I AM a hunter main... and Hunters are at a noticeable disadvantage when it comes to kit building, because of the issue of the upper stat triplet per Hunter stat priorities and efficacy as long as resilience remains such dominant factor in PvE especially.
TLDR, give Hunters access to the same evasion mechanics Manticore allows the player to have while airborne and tie it to the Hunters' mobility stat metric in place of the DR granted by resilience.
For your consideration @Bungie... Please and Thank You 😇 👍💠.

Also it wasn’t a hidden stat it was a perk on the sparrows lmao and all it did was make it so enemies were less likely to target you, if you were solo it didn’t do anything. Crazy how you keep making these L posts XD Pure assumptions based off opinion alone with no proof other then “trust my opinion bro”

1 ReplyEdited by Entity: 3/16/2024 8:58:47 PMI mean hunters get the most useless stat to try and build into, if anything, building mobility should give us AE benifits too. Since titans building into resilience literally changes headshot to body's values/optimal TTK' while buffing their class ability regen and building into recovery as a warlock is a no brainer as every class wants recovery + their ability regen. hunters fall short and just have slightly better strafe speeds, which aren't noticeable when fighting again certain exotics. Either that or level health to remain the same around all classes.

2 RepliesOk, you can trade invis for evasion Bungies not gonna ever let you have both, unless you agree to let Titans have infinite ohk shoulder charge back

6 RepliesI don't get this mindset that hunters are at a disadvantage. Every class has at least 20 mobility in a masterworked set, & hunters are the only class that get usefulness out of those points.

7 RepliesThat would be a good idea if all that is true. Its really hard if you main a hunter to ask for outright buffs. But it really does feel like you have less ability to personalize than you do with the other two sometimes. And that would be a way to balance the top stats and have something specific to hunters. The thing that's specific to warlocks and titans is that they really don't have to care about those stats as much depending on what they get in a given season.
