Trials revamp: take away flawed cards
Since the player base is going down on trials why dont bungie make it so that when you get 7 wins you can go to the lighthouse? Just take away the flawed cards. If you are a skilled player then you go flawless in 1 hour. If you are not then it can take you all weekend to get to the lighthouse but at least more people (pve mains) will step into the match making more and then it becomes a time investment in stead of skill. This will also make trials more mainstream and enjoyable for the entire player base. The real sweats can get their glow and cool emblem to prove they can do it without losing and the rest can get the loot they want and paid for.

1 ReplyIt’s actually pathetic that enough people are upvoting this post. You’re all lazy and entitled. Nobody wants to earn anything anymore. Why not just demand what you really want and get loot as soon as you log in? The funniest part is that adept weapons are only marginally better than the default version. You just want the adept to flex. But the problem there is the allure of the adept would be null by that point since it’ll just be a handout. I’m not even a pvp sweat and spend the majority of my time in pve so the times that I’ve managed to go flawless mean something to me. I hope Bungie never dumbs down the game to that point.

Is it ok to think that maybe not everything needs to be about you? Like, respectfully, I don’t see pvp players complaining they have to gather 5 people and do the raid to get the exclusive exotics and weapons

11 RepliesTrials has always been about skill and bungie made the mode for skilled players. Stop expecting handouts because youre not asking for adepts to come from hero nightfalls or normal raids are you? Just because you cant do the content doesnt mean it should be handed out to everyone. Adepts are a symbol of triumph over the most difficult content and removing the challenge means adepts are pointless, adepts already lost a lot of their power when crafting came out. Stop thinking that trials is too difficult, by asking for it to be easier all you are doing is showing you are not the audience for the mode.

No. People keep asking for Flawless rewards for NOT going Flawless. Just no. You've gotta earn a few things and not just have them handed out. You'll live if you never get a single Adept Trials weapon.

I think getting seven wins should let you go to the light house for a reward but then there’s just also a flawless chest that’s got the adepts. The real only reason to allow everyone who is just willing to grind to get an adept is just to deal with the toxic elites or paid Carrie’s but paid Carrie’s only harm trials and elitists about trials are just losers. People who are elitist about trials are like blue check marked Twitter accounts. Just marking themselves to be mocked.

PvP barely has much going for it as is. Don’t take away what makes its endgame an endgame. Edit: I think they should make it so that Trials isn’t just a weekend thing, and can be played at any time. We can play raids whenever we want. Why not trials?

I got once 7 wins in a row but did not reset the card before that since I got sick of doing it all the time... I am still not flawless yet

1 ReplyEvery season you are in a pool of those who have not gone flawless until you go flawless. The people who always do it every week will still do it. But it lets the average to above average player pick their week and grind it out later in the season and have a slightly better time.

You not gonna be better because you have adept weapon The skill range you need to be for those to actually matters you will never be even close The current system works ...you can grind to get stuff and decryption will only give what you don't have 1st and the sweats and better player go flawless Its time to stop asking for hands out because we participate ....want a raid exotic because toy spent 2 hour in the 1st encounter ?

Think of all the quitters and players who would intentionally throw to end games faster I wish losses mattered MORE, so that kind of stuff happened LESS If you're going to change something, make it so players can get rewards at 3 wins, 5 wins, 7 wins, and 9 wins instead of ONLY at 7 wins. Basically, make it a tier system 3 wins is the basic reward for participating, 5 wins is bronze tier rewards, 7 wins is silver tier rewards, and 9 wins is gold tier rewards. Now, everyone can benefit from playing (and get that dopamine boost), even if they aren't great. I don't know if the Practice Pool would be necessary with this setup. Your Trials stats would list the number of bronze, silver, and gold Flawless tickets you've obtained. Everyone already has a lot of Silver Flawless tickets.

2 RepliesJust stop playing trials. It’s not worth playing. Let it die like it always does. Give up on playing such a toxic, frustrating, and difficult playlist. I never even tried it just because of how infamous and terrible it looks. I’d rather earn no trials loot and have my lifetime record remain 0 then deteriorate my already failing mental health further.
