Female gamers
You know you'd think that being a female gamer I wouldn't have the issues I do but here we are. Sadly I'm not the only one! Every female gamer I've talked to that plays Destiny 2 and other Bungie games are also having this issue. Each day it gets worse and worse and of course Bungie has done NOTHING about it. So if your a male gamer and you seem to think you have to protect the female gamer and stop her from even getting a shot off guess what we don't need you! If you're a male gamer playing match making with a female and you feel threatened by it then LEAVE and stop making it impossible for us to play! If your a male gamer and get match made with a female how about grow up and play like normal! It's pretty bad that out of 4 or 5 hours of playing I might get to complete a couple of things cuz the rest of the time I'm having to restart cuz I was blocked from moving forward, killed, not allowed to shoot, etc etc etc. Grow the hell up it's 2023 and most of you supposed men are acting like lil boys throwing a temper tantrum cuz a girl is playing. BUNGIE YOU NEED TO GET ON THIS AND STOP IGNORING THE FACT THAT THE FEMALE PLAYERS ARE TREATED LIKE CRAP YET MOST OF US ARE A HELL OF A LOT BETTER THAN MOST OF THESE IMMATURE MEN! BUNGIE either protect all players or just back out the gaming industry all together!! Women deal with enough of this crap in the real world don't need it in a damn game as well! But like usual in sure nothing will be done and like always the female gamer gets screwed!

Hold-up you talking about a group you play with, if they're that shitty stop playing with them. If you're talking about playing with randos you will without doubt be sol, you're best bet is to make your own fireteam. Take this however you want but I doubt even announcing( if you're even doing that, because mind reading is certainly isn't a thing ) via chat wouldn't help if this is your reaction.

From what i have seen female gamers talk to male gamers like crap... kick guys that dont follow instructions to the T. Male gamers also protect male gamers... dont feel special. Male gamers also block male gamers... its noy all about you. We dont care if you are male or female, only if you can complete the mission at hand. Some guys are super toxic and scream the entire match.. so are some females. We live in a world now where people go by their feelings over logic and wisdom. In a world where people feel everything is happening to them.... Bro.. how many people are on the planet? Think they dont go through similar issues or worse? This -blam!- is Hilarious!! I’ve played with a lot of female players in destiny and they definitely don’t feel protected by male gamers. If you are getting protected it’s because you need it so you don’t die. If you are getting kicked it’s because you don’t have the skill level needed to complete the objective or your mouth is getting you in trouble. Thinking everything bad happing to you is because of your -blam!- is just ignorant and immature!

Being disrespected in game is never something that you should just take and deal with but coming onto the forum just to complain isn't really going to fix the problem. The internet just doesn't work that way unfortunately. The more you complain the more people troll. You're better off jumping into another fire team if you find this kind of behaviour than just put up with it. Even better, try reporting them for their toxic behaviour.

Gotta love the comments about I'm not special, or is your own fault cuz of your pic and GT, change your GT so they don't know your a female, etc etc etc. It's called respect I mean the messed up part of it is most are blaming me cuz of my GT or pic. It's more of an awareness type thing. Maybe if I brought it to light publicly other female gamers might get the same respect as their male counter part. But if course it got blocked out of proportion like everything else now a days. I tell you what if you don't like what I've got to say about my personal experience and other females I've talked to then move on. Did you not understand you have the trigger and can shoot whenever you press that button, same as the players you play with. Just start shooting. And if they are protecting you.. its likely because.. and this wll be absolutely mind blowing.. Its not because somehow they figured out you identify as a woman (right this is how we have to talk now, not on gender but, feeling identities) but, because they realize you need the protection and so do what they can to keep you alive. If you are failing and can't complete things.. the issue isn't the other players.

Likely bait, but if somehow this is remotely serious and holds some form of water, it would probably do good to not make it obvious you are a female. Granted fireteam griefing in matchmade activities is pretty much universal, but if you're being booted from raid teams it better be for a good reason, because the majority of LFG people can't even do Lantern encounter on crota.
